Abstract
Prototipe adalah media yang berfungsi sebagai peraga dari benda yang besar dan kemudian diskalakan dalam bentuk yang proporsional. Penelitian ini menggunakan prototipe sebagai media ajar pada pelajaran Menggambar Konstruksi Bangunan (MKB) di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 2 (SMKN 2) Garut. Prototipe diharapkan dapat merangsang peserta didik untuk berimajinasi membayangkan objek yang akan digambar. Prototipe digunakan sebagai media ajar pada pelajaran MKB karena beberapa kendala peserta didik dalam menggambar salah satunyaadalah sulit membayangkan objek gambar. Oleh karena itu, tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah 1)Mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran MKB dengan menggunakan media prototipe,2) Mengetahui perbedaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media prototipe dan pembelajaran tanpa media prototipe.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi prototipe yang berarti membagi sampel menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas non prototipe dan kelas prototipe. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes yang terdiri atas pretest-postest dan lembar observasi. Sampel penelitian dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 49peserta didik. Populasi pada penelitian berjumlah 71 peserta didikyang terdiri atas kelas XI Teknik Gambar Bangunan SMKN 2 Garut.Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penggunaan media prototipe sebagai kegiatan penunjang pembelajaran efektif untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran MKB. Nilai efektif ini dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar peserta didik dan kondisi dalam kelas saat penggunaan prototipe. ---------- Prototype is media as model of large objects and then be scaled in the form of a proportionate. This research using the prototype as media learning in lesson of building drawing construction (MKB) in SMKN 2 Garut. Prototype be expected to create the students to imagine the object. Prototype use as media learning lesson MKB because some trouble of students in drawing one of them is imagine the object. Therefore, objectives in this research are; 1) to know of learning outcome on lesson MKB with using prototype, 2) to know of differences lesson with using prototype (experiment clases) and without prototype (control clases). This research use quasi experimental method where the sample divideto two classes there are control class and experiment classes. Instrument who use to collect data is test of pretest and posttest. Amount of sample in this research is 49 students and total of population in this research is 71 students of XI Technic drafting classin SMKN 2 Garut. This research conclusion the media prototype in learn activities is more effective to use on MKB (Building Drawing Construction) learning.
