Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul “Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Peer Teaching Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Waktu Aktif Belajar (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas di Kelas VIII Semester I SMP Negeri 2 Kiarapedes)”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK), khususnya meningkatkan waktu aktivitas belajar siswa. Berdasarkan observasi awal yang menunjukan bahwa gaya mengajar yang digunakan kurang dapat mengoptimalkan waktu pembelajaran yang tersedia. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus melalui empat tahapan, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VIII C di SMP Negeri 2 Kiarapedes. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, catatan lapangan, dan catatan observer. Teknik analisis data yang diguanakan adalah persentasi. Hasil rekapitulasi peningkatan waktu aktif belajar siswa dari implementasi model pembelajaran peer teaching yaitu: Pada observasi awal jumlah waktu aktivitas siswa sebesar 48%, siklus I tindakan 1 jumlah waktu aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 48,30%, siklus I tindakan 2 jumlah waktu aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 52,50%, siklus I tindakan 3 (Pengulangan tindakan untuk perbaikan) jumlah waktu aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 55,83%, siklus II tindakan 1 jumlah waktu aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 58,33%. Berdasarkan perkembangan hasil belajar tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran peer teaching dapat meningkatkan waktu aktif belajar dalam pembelajaran aktivitas bolabasket, dan sepakbola. This research entitled "The Implementation of the Peer Teaching Learning Model to Improve the Time Active Learning (Research of Classroom Action in Class VIII Semester I in SMP Negeri 2 Kiarapedes)". This research aimed for improving the learning process of Physical Education and Health (PEH), Especially to improve the time of student’s learning activity. It was based on the preliminary observations whichrevealed that the teaching method usedcouldn’t optimize the availablelearning time. The method used was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) which conducted in two cycles through four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of research was students of class VIII C as many as 34 students in SMP Negeri 2 Kiarapedes. The data collection technique was conducted by observation, field notes, and observer notes. The data analysis technique used was presentation.The result of recapitulation ofthe increase of students’ active time of learning from the implementation of peer teaching: at the initial observation the amount of time of student activity was 48%, the cycle I of the action 1 the amount of time of students' learning activities was 48.30%, the cycle I of action 2 the amount of time of students' learning activities was52.50%, the cycle I of action 3 (Action of repetition to repair) the amount of time of students’ learning activities was 55.83%, the cycle II of action 1 the amount of time of students' learning activitieswas 58.33%. According to the improvement of the learning result, then it could be concluded that the peer teaching learning model could improve the time of active learning in the learning of basketball and football activity.
