Abstract
Kesenian Dod-dod pada Syukuran Panen (Rasulan) di kampung Pamatang Desa Mekarwangi Kecamatan Saketi Kabupaten Pandeglang adalah judul penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur penyajian, fungsi alat dan peranan lagu yang disajikan dalam kesenian Dod-dod pada acara Syukuran Panen (Rasulan). Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif yang dibantu dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil temuan yang didapat adalah struktur penyajian yang memiliki bagian awal, inti dan akhir, fungsi alat yang terdiri dari ritmis dan melodis dan peranan lagu yang bermakna sebagai do’a. Data-data tersebut diharapkan berkontribusi bagi repertoar khasanah budaya dan pendidikan di masyarakat. The Art of Dod-dod on thanksgiving harvest party (Rasulan) in Pamatang Village Mekarwangi, distric Saketi Pandeglang, is the title of the research aims to describe the structure of the presentation, the function of musical Instrumen and the role of the song presented in the art of Dod-Dod on thanksgiving harvest party (Rasulan). The method is a descriptive qualitative observation technique, assisted with interviews, documentation an study of literature. Result obtained are the structure of the presentation that has the beginning, core events, and core functions of music instruments consisting of rhythmic and melodic and meaningful song’s role as a player. The data is expected to contribute to the cultural and aducational culture of the repertoire in the citizen and community.
