Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran aplikasi Adobe Dreamweaver dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membuat website pada anak tunarungu. Adobe Dreamweaver merupakan program aplikasi untuk merancang, mengkodekan dan mengembangkan website yang menyediakan fitur editor editor WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) atau dalam bahasa kesehariannya disebut Design View. Adanya fitur tersebut memudahkan penggunanya dalam membuat website karena dapat merancang website secara visual. Fitur tersebut menjadi keuntungan tersendiri bagi anak tunarungu yang lebih memanfaatkan kemampuan visualnya untuk memperoleh informasi, sehingga aplikasi ini dirasa cocok untuk diberikan pada anak tunarungu untuk mengembangkan keterampilannya dalam membuat website. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah One Group Pre-Test – Post-Test Design yang melibatkan satu kelompok dengan dua kali pengukuran. Bentuk tes yang digunakan berbentuk tes perbuatan yang diberikan kepada sampel penelitian untuk mengetahui kemampuan mereka dalam membuat layout halaman website, menggunakan gambar atau warna pada halaman website, memberikan tulisan pada halaman website, dan membuat konten atau isi pada website. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah enam orang siswa SMA di SLB B Sukapura Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran aplikasi Adobe Dreamweaver dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membuat website pada anak tunarungu. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan skor yang diperoleh setelah diberikan perlakuan selama empat kali pertemuan.---------- This study was conducted to determine the effect of learning Adobe Dreamweaver application in improving skills to create a website on children with hearing impairment. Adobe Dreamweaver is an application program for designing, coding, and developing websites that provide features editor WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get) or in everyday language called Design View. The existence of these features allows users to create a website because it can design a website visually. Such features a distinct advantage for deaf children who take better advantage of its visual ability to obtain information, so that the application is deemed suitable to be given to deaf children to develop skills in making a website. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental research methods. Experimental design used is One Group Pre-Test - Post-Test Design involving one group with two measurements. The test form that is used in the form of tests given to a sample deed research to determine their ability to create web page layouts, use a picture or color on the page, giving the writing on the page, and make the content or the content of the website. The sample in this study are six high school students in SLB B Sukapura Bandung. The results showed that the learning Adobe Dreamweaver can improve the skills to create a website on children with hearing impairment. It is evident from the increase in the score obtained after the treatment was given during the four meetings
