Abstract

Kelimpahan sumber daya alam yang terkandung dalam perut Bumi begitu banyak, salah satunya di Indonesia khususnya daerah Lampung. Bijih Besi merupakan salah satu kelimpahan sumber daya alam yang layak untuk dilakukan eksplorasi menimbang kegunaan dari Besi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari begitu beragam. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengestimasi zona Bijih Besi sebagai langkah awal survei pendahuluan eksplorasi yaitu dengan menggunakan metode geomagnet. Koreksi harian dan koreksi International Geomagnetic Reference Field (IGRF) dilakukan untuk menghilangkan noise yang tersebar baik di atas maupun bawah permukaan sehingga diperoleh anomali magnet total pengukuran, kemudian dilakukan Upward continuation dan Reduction to the pole untuk mengetahui kedaan prospek penelitian. Setelah prospek penelitian terlihat secara kualitatif, kemudian dilakukan pemodelan 2-D dan 3-D untuk memperkuat analisis dan interpretasi keadaan struktur bawah permukaan dalam melokalisir distribusi zona Bijih Besi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prospek dari penelitian terdapat struktur pengontrol yang berorientasi Baratlaut-Tenggara dan terlihat keberadaan potensi sumber daya Bijih Besi pada daerah penelitian dengan potensi volume sebesar 392,448,000 m3. --------- Abundance of natural resources contained in the belly of the Earth so much, one of them is Indonesia in particular area of Lampung. Iron ore is one of the abundance of natural resources exploration eligible to weigh the usefulness of Iron in everyday life so diverse. The study was conducted to estimate the Iron Ore zone as a first step preliminary exploration surveys by using geomagnetic methods. Daily correction and International Geomagnetic Reference Field correction (IGRF) done to eliminate noise that spread both above and below the surface in order to obtain the total magnetic anomaly measurements, then do Upward continuation and Reduction to the pole to determine the state of research prospects. Once the prospect of a qualitative research visible, then do modeling 2-D and 3-D to strengthen the analysis and interpretation of the state of the subsurface structure in the distribution localize zones of Iron Ore. Results of the study indicate that there are prospects of research -oriented control structure Northwest - Southeast and the visible presence of the potential for resource iron ore in the area of research with the potential volume of 392,448,000 m3 .
