Abstract
Tepulout merupakan salah satu karya tari dan musik kreasi, yang diciptakan untuk kebutuhan lomba tari dan musik kreasi pada acara Festival Serumpun Sebalai di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, dan Parade Tari Nusantara di Jakarta.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu,untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses kreatif komponis Sanggar Seni Kite dalam menciptakan musik iringan tari Tepulout, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana susunan musik iringan tari Tepulout di Sanggar Seni Kite. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif melalui paradigma kualitatif, untuk memberikan paparan secara akurat mengenai data-data yang ada dalam objek penelitian.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan,Secara keseluruhan bentuk (form) musik iringan tari Tepulout terdiri dari 7 bagian. Setiap bagian mempunyai struktur yang berbeda, dapat dilihat dari tempo, penggunaan alat di setiap bagian, pola tabuhan yang berulang-ulang serta struktur harmoni yang bervariasi. Tepulout is one of the dance work and music creation that created for the needs of dance competition and music creation in Serumpun Sebalai Festival Bangka Belitung Province, and Parade Tari Nusantara in Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to know how the creative process of the composer Sanggar Seni Kite in creating music accompaniment of Tepulout dance and to know how the arrangement of music accompaniment Tepulout dance in Sanggar Seni Kite. The method used in this research is descriptive method through qualitative paradigm, to provide accurate exposure of the data in the object of research. Based on the result of the research and the discussion, overall the form of Tepulout dance music accompaniment consists of 7 sections. Every section has the different structure, it can be seen by the tempo, the use of the tools in each section, percussion pattern repeated along with harmony structure varies.
