Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri 115 Jakarta yang berjumlah 30 orang kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan penerapan model experiential learning dan pada kelas kontrol dengan diberikan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 11 sampai dengan 20 Agustus 2015. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji keefektifan penerapan model experiential learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis peserta didik. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan acuan atau pedoman untuk pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dan memeroleh pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan rancangan non-equivalent control group. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data antara lain teknik tes, lembar observasi, lembar angket, dan instrumen perlakuan. Melalui penelitian ini, diperoleh temuan bahwa rata-rata nilai peserta didik pada pascates dalam kelas eksperimen sebesar 75,53 sedangkan rata-rata tes akhir pada pascates dalam kelas kontrol sebesar 63,10. Artinya rata-rata nilai pascates pada kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata nilai pascates pada kelas kontrol. Diperoleh thitung = 9,362 dengan df = 29. Dari tabel distribusi t (ttabel) diperoleh pula nilai t0,025;29 = 2,04523. Karena terlihat bahwa t = 9,362 > t0,025;29 = 2,04523, maka H0 ditolak. Begitu pula dengan nilai probabilitasnya, a=5% = 0,05 > Sig. = 0,000, maka H0 ditolak. Artinya, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan kata lain, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi peserta didik dengan penerapan model experiential learning dengan hasil keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif pada kelas kontrol. Maka disimpulkan bahwa model experiential learning efektif untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi. Kata Kunci: Model experiential learning, Pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi.   This research was carried out at the students class X of SMAN 115 Jakarta which amounted to 30 people in experimental class and control class. In experimental class was given treatment by the application of experiential learning models and on the control class to be given of the cooperative models. This research was carried out on the 11 to 20 August 2015. The studies were conducted to test the effectiveness of the application of experiential learning models to improve writing skills of students. The study is expected to be used as a reference or guidelines for learning skills writing observations text report and acquiring learning fun for students. The research method used in this research is the method of research experiments quasi with non-equivalent control group design. The technique used in the collection of data between other engineering test, the observations, the inquiry, and the treatment. Through this research, obtained by the findings that the average value of students in posttest of experimental class is 75,53, while the average final test on posttest in control class is 63,10. This means that the value of posttest value in experimental class is bigger than the average value on posttest in control class. Provided ttest = 9,362 with df = 29. From the table of distribution have obtained the value t0,025;29 = 2,04523. Because it appears that t = 9,362 > t0,025;29 = 2,04523, then H0 be rejected. Similarly, with the probability of it, a=5% = 0,05 > Sig. = 0,000, then H0 be rejected and Ha received. In other words, there are the significant differences between the skills writing observation text report of students with the application of experiential learning models with the skills writing observation text report by use of the learning cooperative models in control class. So it can be concluded that learning by using experiential learning models was effective for using in learning to write the observations text report.
