Abstract

Penelitianinidilatarbelakangiolehrendahnya kemampuan anak tunarungu dalam melakukan operasi perkalian antarpuluhan, hal ini disebabkan karena dalam menyelesaikan perkalian tersebut cenderung dilakukan dengan bersusun ke bawah dengan beberapa kali proses penyimpanan dan penguraian yang panjang sehingga mereka sering keliru dalam proses penyimpanan nilai tempat bilangan. Peneliti menerapkan teknik fast math untuk meningkatakan kemampuan operasi berhitung perkalian antar puluhan pada anak tunarungu kelas V SDLB di SLB Negeri Trituna Subang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Data diperoleh melalui instrument tes berupa tes formatif dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perolehan nilai rata-rata nilai setiap siklus, siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 55,00 dan siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata 70,00 terjadi peningkatan sebesar 15,00 dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal sebesar 65,00. Dengan demikian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan teknik fast math dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung perkalian antar puluhan pada anak tunarungu kelas V SDLB di SLB Negeri Trituna Subang. Kata Kunci: Teknik Fast Math, Operasi Berhitung Perkalian, Anak Tunarungu This research is motivated by the lack of ability of children with hearing impairment in performing multiplication operations among dozens, this was due in completing the multiplication tends to do with tiered down with several times the length of storage and decomposition so that they are often mistaken in the process of storage place value of numbers. Researchers applied the technique to increase the ability of fast math multiplication arithmetic operations among dozens on children with hearing impairment in 5ndgrade SLB NegeriTritunaSubang. The method used is a Classroom Action Research, the research was conducted as much as two cycles. Data obtained through the test instrument in the form of formative tests and observation sheet. The results showed a significant increase. It can be seen from the acquisition value of the average value of each cycle, the first cycle obtained an average value of 55.00 and the second cycle obtained an average value of 70.00 an increase of 15.00 with a minimum completeness criteria amounted to 65.00, Thus we concluded that the use of the technique of fast math multiplication can improve numeracy skills among dozens on children with hearing impairment in 5ndgrade SLB NegeriTritunaSubang.
