Abstract

Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan karir berbasis perkembangan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi karir peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen murni (True Experimental) dengan menggunakan dua teknik sampling yaitu Cluster Sampling untuk mengungkap profil kompetensi karir peserta didik kelas X SMKN 2 Subang berjumlah 288 orang dan Simple Random Sampling untuk mengetahui keefektifan program bimbingan karir berbasis perkembangan dengan jumlah masing-masing 20 orang pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner/angket kompetensi karir peserta didik SMK. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu: (1) tingkat kompetensi karir peserta didik secara umum berada pada kategori cukup kompeten dengan persentase 17.01% berada pada kategori kompeten, dan 82.99% cukup kompeten; (2) rumusan program bimbingan karir berbasis perkembangan yang dinyatakan layak oleh pakar dan praktisi meliputi: Rasional, Deskripsi Kebutuhan, Tujuan Program, Rencana Operasional, Pengembangan Tema/Topik, Evaluasi dan Tindak Lanjut, dan Indikator Keberhasilan; dan (3) program bimbingan karir berbasis perkembangan terbukti efektif dengan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada kompetensi karir peserta didik. Rekomendasi berdasarkan hasil penelitian diantaranya guru bimbingan dan konseling dapat menggunakan program bimbingan karir berbasis perkembangan ini untuk diterapkan di seluruh peserta didik kelas X berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan dan bagi peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan mengembangkan program bimbingan karir pada jenjang kelas, jenis sekolah (SMA atau MA), dan desain penelitian yang berbeda. The research method used was a true by using two sampling techniques are Cluster Sampling to uncover career competency profile class X students SMK Subang 2 amounted to 288 people and Simple Random Sampling to determine the effectiveness of career guidance program based on developments with the respective number every 20 people in the experimental and control groups. Instruments used were questionnaires / career competency questionnaire vocational learners. The results obtained are: (1) the level of competence of learners career in general are fairly competent in the category with the percentage of 17.01% in the competent category, and 82.99% is quite competent, (2) formulation based career guidance program development as feasible by experts and practitioners include: Rationale, Description Requirement, Program Objectives, Operational Planning, Development Themes / Topics, Evaluation and Follow-up, and success indicators, and (3) development of program-based career guidance proved to be effective in the presence of a significant increase in the competence of the learners career . Recommendations based on the results of such studies teachers can use the guidance and counseling program based on the development of career guidance is to be applied in all class X students based on needs analysis and for further research are expected to develop a career guidance program on grade level, type of school (high school or MA), and different research designs.
