Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan kreativitas di era globalisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan 1) perbedaan tingkat kreativitas siswa berdasarkan iklim kehidupan keluarga; 2) perbedaan tingkat kreativitas antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan; 3) perbedaan tingkat kreativitas antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan berdasarkan jenis iklim kehidupan keluarga. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik two stage cluster sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X di SMA Laboratorium (Percontohan) UPI Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 121 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan kreativitas siswa kelas X berdasarkan iklim kehidupan keluarga. Adapun berdasarkan jenis kelamin terdapat perbedaan kreativitas antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan dengan kecenderungan siswa laki-laki lebih tinggi kreativitasnya dibandingkan siswa perempuan, kecuali pada kelompok siswa yang merasakan iklim estetis keluarga tidak terdapat perbedaan kreativitas.

This research is based on the importance of creativity in globa era. The aim of this research are to describe 1) The differences of student’s creativity based on family climate; 2) The differences of student’s creativity between male and female student; 3) The differences of student’s creativity between male and female student based on family climate. The approach of this reseacrh is quantitative approach, and metode is comparative method. Sampling was done by two-stage cluster sampling technique. Sample of this research are 121 students of grade X in SMA Laboratorium (Percontohan) UPI Bandung City Academic Year 2014/2015. The results showed no difference creativity class X SMA Laboratorium (Percontohan) UPI Bandung academic year 2014/2015 based family climate. Other result is there is differences creativity between male and female student, male students are more creative than famale students, except for groups of students who feel aesthetic climate of the family there is no difference creativity.
