Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang kontribusi kit praktikum kimia skala kecil (KPSK) yang dikembangkanolehMulyono HAM (Mulyono’s kit) terhadap tugas guru kimia dalam pembelajaran larutan penyangga. Kontribusi Mulyono’s kit terhadap tugas guru kimia dilihat dari tugas utama guru dan peran guru sebagai pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Tugas utamaguru yang diukur dalam penelitian ada 3 aspek yaitu mendidik, mengajar, dan melatih, sedangkan peran guru yang diukur dalam penelitian adalah sebagai korektor, inspirator, informator, motivator, inisiator, fasilitator, mediator, pembimbing, pengelola kelas dan evaluator. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 6 guru di empat SMA Negeri/Swasta di Kota Bandung dankabupaten Bandung Barat yang sedang membelajarkan subpokok materi sifat larutan penyangga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kontribusi terhadap tugas utama guru kimia sebesar 78,9%, dengan kategori baik, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Mulyono’s kit dapat berkontribusi positif terhadap tugas utama guru kimia. Nilai rata-rata kontribusi Mulyono’s kit terhadap peran guru diperoleh sebesar 82,5% dengankategori sangat baik dalam membantu peran guru dan nilai rata-rata kesesuaian Mulyono’s kit dengan standar proses kurikulum 2006, diperoleh sebesar 95,1% yang menunjukkan sangat sesuai. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Mulyono’s kit, tugas utamaguru, peran guru, kurikulum 2006. (SSLK) developed by Mulyono HAM (Mulyono’s kit) to the task of teachers and the role of chemistry teachers in learning buffer. The contribution of Mulyono’s kit for the task of chemistry teachers is viewed by the teacher’s task and the role of the teacher in learning process which is carried out. The tasks of teachers are categorized into 3 aspects, which are educating, teaching, and training. Meanwhile, the roles of teachers which are examined in this study are corrector, aspirator, informer, motivator, initiator, facilitator, mediator, supervisor, manager and evaluator class. Subject of the study is six teachers in four senior high schools in Bandung City and West Bandung regency which are studying the characterization of buffer with no buffer solution. The method of this study is descriptive method with the instrument used was a questionnaire sheet. The results showed the average value of a contribution to the main task of the teacher chemicals amounted to 78.9%, the value is in the category scales well, it does show that Mulyono’s kit can contribute positively to the main task of chemistry teacher. The average value contribution to the role of the teacher lab kit was obtained at 82.5% which is in the category of scale very well in helping the teacher's role as an educator and the average value of the suitability of Mulyono’s kit with a standard curriculum process in 2006, obtained at 95, 1% which indicates very appropriate.
