Abstract
Penelitian yang berjudul “Penerapan Metode Yamaha dalam Pembelajaran Biola Tingkat Dasar di Braga Music School” memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan mengenai pengorganisasian materi, tahapan pembelajaran dan pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran biola metode Yamaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena belakangan ini masyarakat luas khususnya yang berdomisili di Bandung membutuhkan informasi mengenai lembaga kursus musik yang salah satunya menawarkan jenis kursus biola yang memiliki kualitas bagus sehingga dapat dijadikan sumber referensi dalam memilih kursus musik. Disinilah peran peneliti untuk mencari informasi-informasi tersebut sehingga dapat berguna baik bagi peneliti, lembaga, dan juga masyarakat. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, ada beberapa teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yakni observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Pada proses pemberian materi, guru melakukan tahapan-tahapan pembelajaran yaitu tahap prainstruksional, tahap instruksional dan tahap evaluasi. Selanjutnya mengenai segi penerapan metode, ditemukan bahwa Yamaha memiliki metode dan kurikulum tersendiri yang sudah memiliki lisensi dari YMI (Yamaha Musik Indonesia/Yamaha Music Foundation of Japan). Dengan sistem pelajaran menggunakan Minus One System Disk sebagai background musik akan membuat bermain biola menjadi lebih menyenangkan. Terakhir mengenai pelaksanaan evaluasi, pelaksanaan evaluasi yang berupa ujian kenaikan tingkat di Yamaha dilaksanakan setiap 6 bulan atas persetujuan pengajar. Materi yang diujiankan yaitu Repertoire, Sight playing, Aural playing, Scales and Bowing variations, dan Evaluation. The study entitled “Implementation Method Violin Yamaha in Learning the Elementary Level in Braga Music School” has the purpose is to determine and describe the organization of the material, learning and evaluation stages of learning violin by Yamaha method. This research was done because of the recent issue especially those residing in Bandung requires information about institutions of music courses, one of which offers a type of violin courses that have good quality so that it can be used as a source of reference in choosing a course of music. The role of researches is to look for this information so it can be useful both for researches, institutions and communities. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach. In this study, there are several data collection techniques made such as observation, interview, documentation study, and the study of literature. In the process of giving the material-learning process, teachers do the stages of learning that pre-instructional stage, the stage of instructional and evaluation stage. Furthermore, the terms of the application of method, it was found that Yamaha has its own methods and curriculum that already has a license from YMI (Yamaha Music Indonesia/Yamaha Music Foundation of Japan). By learning using the Minus One System Disk as background music will make playing the violin becomes more fun for the students. Finally, regarding the implementation of the evaluation, the evaluation in the stages in the Yamaha test carried out every six months with the approval of teachers. The material which is tested are Repertoire, Sight playing, Aural playing, Scales and bowing variations, and Evaluation.
