Abstract
Keputusan karier merupakan salah satu keputusan penting dalam rentang kehidupan individu. Peserta didik kelas IX MTs yang berada pada masa remaja dihadapkan pada penentuan pilihan pendidikan lanjutan, pekerjaan, dan aktivitas-aktvitas produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap kondisi keputusan karier peserta didik kelas IX MTs Negeri 2 Bandung dan menyusun program bimbingan karier yang layak untuk mengembangkan keputusan karier peserta didik. pendekatan yang gunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala tertutup. Analsis data dikelompokan menjadi tiga kategori, Baik, cukup baik, dan kurang baik. keputusan karier berada pada kategori baik dengan skor tinggi, keputusan karier pada kategori cukup baik dengan skor sedang dan keputusan karier pada kategori kurang baik dengan skor rendah. Hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat pencapaian keputusan karier peserta didik belum optimal. Indikator pertimbangan lingkungan, keterlibatan, dan tidak tergantung memiliki tingkat pencapaian paling rendah. Hasil temuan penelitian dijadikan dasar untuk menyusun rumusan program bimbingan karier yang kemudian diuji kelayakan oleh pakar dan praktisi untuk dapat dilaksanakan dalam rangka membantu peserta didik mengoptimalkan keputusan kariernya. Adapun rekomendasi ditujukan guru bimbinga konseling dan penelitian selanjutnya. Kata Kunci : Keputusa Karier, Program Bimbingan Karier A career decision is one of the important decisions in the life span of the individual. The students of class XI MTS in adolescence are confronted on the determination of the choice of further education, employment, and productive activities. This research aims to uncover the career decision condition learners class IX MTS 2 Bandung and put together a decent career guidance program to develop learner’s career decisions. The approach used is quantitative descriptive method approach. Research instrument is used the enclosed scale. Analyses of data are grouped into three categories, well, quite well, and less good. Career decisions are on the category either by high scores, career decisions on categories quite well with being and career decisions on categories less well with a low score. The research results obtained the level of attainment of learner’s career decisions are not optimal. Indicators of environmental considerations, the involvement, and not subject to have the lowest levels of attainment. The research findings were the basis for drafting the outline of a career guidance program and then tested the feasibility by experts and practitioners to be implemented in order to help learners optimize decision of his career.
