Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji ada dan tidak adanya pengaruh metode mendongeng terhadap keterampilan menulis narasi dan sikap percaya diri peserta didik kelas 5 sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitaf, metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain “Pretes-Postes Control Group Design“. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan melalui tahap studi pendahuluan, uji instrumen penelitian, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode dongeng serta pengungkapan akhir penelitian untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh metode mendongeng terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi dan sikap percaya diri. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan; 1. Kemampuan menulis narasi peserta didik secara umum berada pada katagori sedang, 2. Keadaan sikap percaya diri peserta didik secara umum berada pada kategori sedang, 3. Pembelajaran menulis narasi melalui dongeng secara hipotetik dan empirik diprediksi dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan menulis narasi peserta didik, 3. Metode Mendongeng dapat berpengaruh tehadap sikap percaya diri peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Pembelajaran menulis dengan menggunakan metode men dongeng diimplementasikan di sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan menulis narasi dan sikap percaya diri peserta didik. This study aimed to test the presence and absence of the influence of the method of storytelling to narrative writing skills and a confident attitude of students in grade 5 of primary school. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, a quasi-experimental methods, to design "pretest-posttest control group design". The research was carried through the preliminary study phase, test research instruments, implementation of learning by using fairy tales as well as disclosure of the final study to determine whether there is any effect on the ability of storytelling method to write narrative and confident attitude. Research results show; 1. The ability to write narrative learners in general are in the moderate category, 2. Circumstances confident attitude of students in general are in the medium category, 3. Learning to write narrative through fairy tales are hypothetical and empirical predicted to affect the ability to write narrative learners, 3. Methods Storytelling can affect the attitude of confident learners in learning. Learning to write by using a method of downloading a fairytale implemented in schools in an effort to improve the ability to write narrative and confident attitude of learners.
