Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model make-a match pada pembelajaran IPS dalam materi perlawanan terhadap pihak Belanda pada masa sebelum dan setelah kebangkitan nasional. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian yang hendak dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan model make-a match pada materi perlawanan terhadap pihak Belanda pada masa sebelum dan setelah kebangkitan nasional, dan (2) hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model make-a match pada materi perlawanan terhadap pihak Belanda pada masa sebelum dan setelah kebangkitan nasional. Sedangkan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V-D pada SD Negeri X Kota Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 31 orang. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan model make-a match pada mata pelajaran IPS materi perlawanan terhadap pihak Belanda pada masa sebelum dan setelah kebangkitan nasional menunjukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar. Pada siklus I, rata-rata nilai kelas mencapai 75,17 dengan persentase ketuntasan berdasarkan KKM sebesar 71%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata kelas mencapai 85 dengan persentase ketuntasan KKM sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ada beberapa saran diantaranya: (1) hendaknya guru memeberikan pemahaman terlebih dahulu kepada siswa mengenai langkah—langkah model pembelajaran make-a match sebelum pembelajaran dimulai, (2) hendaknya guru mempersiapkan pembelajaran model make-a match dengan lebih kreatif dan menyenangkan bagi siswa agar lebih termotivasi dalam proses KBM, dan (3) bagi peneliti lainnya yang hendak melakukan penelitian dengan model pembelajaran make-a match, agar mampu lebih mengembangkan model tersebut sehingga anak antusias dalam belajar serta hasil belajar lebih meningkat. This classroom action research implemented in order to improve student learning outcomes by using a model of the make-a match on learning social sciences in the material resistance against the Dutch in the period before and after the national revival. The purpose of the research that will be achieved is to know: (1) Implementation of the learning of Social Sciences by using the model make-a match on the material resistance against the Dutch in the period before and after the national revival, and (2) the results of student learning to apply make-model of a match on the material resistance against the Dutch in the period before and after the national revival.While the subject of this research is class student VD at X Elementary School in Bandung on Academic Years 2014/2015 with the total of student is 31 person. The results using the model make-a match on the subjects of Social Sciences material resistance against the Dutch in the period before and after the national revival shows the increase of learning outcomes.In the first cycle, the average value of the class reached 75.17 with the the percentage of completeness by the minimum passing grade about 71%. In the second cycle, the average value of the class reached 85 with the percentage of completeness by the minimum passing grade about 90 %. Based on these results, there is some suggestion, including : (1) The teacher should providing an understanding to the student frist, about the steps learning model of make-a match before the learning begins, (2) the teacher should prepare a model of learning make-a match with more creative and fun for the students, so that students become more motivated in the process of Teaching and Learning, and (3) for other researchers who want to do the research with learning model of make-a match, to able to improve a model of learning make-a match so the children enthusiastic in learning and learning outcomes increased.
