Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh seringnya terjadi kasus bullying secara verbal yang ada dalam dunia pendidikan. Kasus bullying secara verbal ini menjadi masalah yang seolah olah diacuhkan oleh guru. Oleh karena itu, maka diperlukan sikap anti-bullying verbal dari setiap siswa agar kasus bullying secara verbal tersebut bisa diredam dan dituntaskan. Berdasarkan observasi awal di SMP Negeri 6 Bandung kelas VIII-8, sikap anti-bullying verbal yang ada dalam diri siswa masih kurang dan perlu ditingkatkan. Hal itu dapat dilihat dari observasi awal dilapangan bahwa adanya siswa yang sering mengejek, menyoraki, tidak menghargai siswa lainnya sehingga bisa dikatakan sikap anti-bullying verbal di kelas VIII-8 SMP Negeri 6 Bandung perlu ditingkatkan. Melihat fenomena tersebut, perlu disusun model pembelajaran dalam IPS untuk meningkatkan sikap anti-bullying verbal siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan modelling keterampilan sosial verbal dalam pembelajaran IPS. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi sikap anti-bullying verbal siswa dan catatan lapangan proses pembelajaran IPS. Untuk pengumpulan data digunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan dalam proses pengolahan data dan analisis data menggunakan kualitaif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil akhir dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, pertama pembelajaran dimulai dengan menentukan Standar Kompetensi dan Kompetensi Dasar dan penyusunan RPP, kedua penerapan modelling keterampilan sosial verbal dalam pembelajaran IPS, ketiga menunjukan adanya peningkatan sikap anti-bullying verbal pada siswa pada siklus 1 sampai siklus 3, keempat melakukan refleksi dari setiap siklus yang telah dilakukan, kelima menanggulangi setiap siklus berdasarkan refleksi yang telah dilaksanakan. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian dari mulai siklus 1 sampai siklus 3 yang telah dilaksanakan sebanyak 11 tindakan, nampak peningkatan sikap anti-bullying verbal siswa yang yang ditunjukan dengan indikator siswa dapat memuji penampilan siswa lain, memberi applause terhadap penampilan siswa lain, memanggil nama siswa lain dengan benar, menghargai pendapat siswa lain, tidak mengejek ras atau etnik dan menegur dengan cara yang baik. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya, peneliti berharap peneliti selanjutnya dapat meneruskan penelitian ini dalam rangka menuntaskan berbagai macam kasus bullying di sekolah, dan dapat mengembangkan strategi, metode, dan model yang lebih baik lagi guna mencapai hasil yang lebih maksimal. This research is motivated by the frequent verbal bullying cases that exist in the world of education. Cases of verbal bullying is a problem that as if ignored by teachers. Therefore, it is necessary anti-verbal bullying attitude of all student to verbal bullying cases can be mitigated and resolved. Based on preliminary observations in Junior Highschool 6 Bandung VIII-8, the anti-verbal bullying attitude in students is still lacking and needs to be improved. It can be seen from the initial observation field that the students are often mocked, cheered, did not appreciate the other students so that it can be said the anti-verbal bullying attitude in class VIII-8 Junior Highschool 6 Bandung needs to be improved. Seeing this phenomenon, need to be developed in Social Studies learning model to improve anti-verbal bullying attitude. The approach used in this research is Classroom Action Research by applying social verbal skills modelling in social studies learning. The instrument used was the observation sheet anti-bullying verbal students attitude and field notes of learning process. For data collection used observation, interview, and documentation, whereas in data processing and data analysis using Qualitative and Quantitative. Based on the final results of the research that has been done, the first are lesson begins by determining Competence Standard and Basic Competence and preparation of the RPP, second are the application of social verbal skills modelling in social studies, three showed an increase in anti- verbal bullying attitude in students in cycle 1 to cycle 3 , fourth are reflection of each cycle that has been done, the fifth are overcome obstacles in every cycle based reflections that have been implemented. Conclusion of the study from start to cycle 1 to cycle 3 which has been implemented by 11 actions, has been apparent increase in anti–verbal bullying attitude who were shown by the indicator that students can praised another student, give applause to the performance of other students, calling other students names correctly , respect the opinion of other students, do not mock race or ethnicity and reprimand in a good way. Suggestions for next researchers, researchers hope next researchers can continue this research in order to solve many of the cases of bullying at school, and can develop strategies, methods, and better models to achieve maximum results.
