Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji perbedaan kemampuan representasi pada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran strategi TAPPS berbantuan GeoGebra dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran biasa secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan kategori PAM (tinggi, sedang, rendah), menelaah peningkatan kemampuan self-confidence siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran strategi TAPPS berbantuan GeoGebra dan pembelajaran biasa secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan kategori PAM (tinggi, sedang, rendah), serta mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika, pembelajaran strategi TAPPS berbantuan GeoGebra dan terhadap soal-soal representasi. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI IPA satu di antara Sekolah Menengah Atas yang ada. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes kemampuan representasi dan angket self-confidence. Perhitungan statistik menggunakan program SPSS 20 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang memperoleh pembelajaran TAPPS berbantuan GeoGebra kemampuan representasinya lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran biasa secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan kategori PAM (tinggi, sedang, rendah), peningkatan kemampuan self-confidence siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran strategi TAPPS berbantuan GeoGebra lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran biasa secara keseluruhan dan berdasarkan kategori PAM (tinggi, sedang, rendah). The purpose of this study were to assess the difference of students representation who received strategic TAPPS aided by GeoGebra and students who received general learning, examine the improvement of self-confidence of studnets who received strategic TAPPS learning aided by Geogebra and students who received general learning, also to examine students attitude toward mathematical learning, strategic TAPPS aided by GeoGebra, and representation tests. Implementation of this research was conducted in class XI IPA at one senior high school. Instruments which was used in this study were mathematical representation test and self-confidence questionnaries. Data analysis was conducted by using SPSS 20 for Windows. The results showed that, students who received TAPPS aided by GeoGebra have a better representation ability than students who received general learning, self-confidence improvement of students who received TAPPS aided by GeoGebra is better than students who received general learning.
