Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Desain Didaktis Sifat-Sifat Segiempat untuk Mencapai Level Berpikir Geometri Pengelompokkan Pada Siswa SMP”. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya dugaan tidak bisanya siswa mengelompokkan segiempat. Sedangkan tingkatan SMP harusnya sudah mencapai level berpikir geometri pada tahap level 2 yaitu pengelompokkan. Mengapa terjadi demikian? Hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran yang tidak mendorong level berpikir geometri siswa, sehingga secara turun temurun kebanyakan level berpikir geometri siswa masih rendah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat pengembangan bahan ajar yang disusun berdasarkan tahapan level berpikir geometri tentang sifat-sifat segiempat, dengan harapan hasil yang efektif terhadap penerapan desain didaktis ini dalam mencapai level berpikir geometri pengelompokkan.
Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada siswa kelas VII di SMP 49 Bandung, dengan pembelajaran sifat-sifat segiempat menggunakan 4 lesson design. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan studi dokumentasi.
Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terjadi peningkatan level berpikir geometri pengelompokkan pada siswa.
This research entitled "Design Didaktis Quadrilateral Properties to Increase a Level of thinking in which Geometry in students of Junior High School". The research was distributed by the existence of allegations not usually students classify quadrilateral. While the Junior High School level should already reached level thinking geometry at the stage level 2 consist of. grouping. Why is that happen? This is because the study did not encourage thinking level geometry students, so most hereditary level thinking geometry students is still low. Based on the purpose of doing research is to make the didactic desain by stages level thinks the geometry of the properties of a square, with the hope that the results of the application of the design against efektiv didaktis in geometric thinking which reached level.
This research was conducted to grade VII in the Junior High School 49, Bandung, with learning the properties of a square using 4 lesson design. Research methods used in this research is qualitative data collection techniques through observation and study of documentation.
From the results obtained that an increase in the level of classification in the geometry of thinking students.
