Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan sikap peduli lingkungan. Metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan Nonequivalent [Pre-Test and Post Test] Control-Group Design. Subjek yang diteliti adalah peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan PBL sedangkan kelompok kontrol mendapatkan bukan PBL. Kemampuan memecahkan masalah diukur dengan soal uraian. Sikap peduli lingkungan dihimpun dengan angket sikap eksplisit dan sikap implisit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan memecahkan masalah peserta didik yang memperoleh PBL lebih tinggi dari peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran bukan PBL. Sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik yang memperoleh PBL lebih tinggi dari peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran bukan PBL. Dengan demikian pembelajaran dengan Model Problem Based Learning lebih meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik sekolah dasar dibandingkan pembelajaran bukan PBL This study intends to assess the effect of the use of Problem Based Learning toward problem-solving skills and caring attitude environment. Quasi-experimental research methods with Nonequivalent [Pre-Test and Post Test] Control-Group Desaign. The subjects studied are learners Elementary School fourth grade. The experimental group while the control group getting PBL PBL get instead. Problem-solving skills measured by a matter of description. Environmental care attitude questionnaire compiled by the attitude of explicit and implicit attitudes. The results showed an increase in problem-solving skills of learners who obtain higher PBL learners who acquire learning instead of PBL. Environmental care attitude of learners who obtain higher PBL learners who acquire learning instead of PBL. Thus, learning with Problem Based Learning Model further enhance problem-solving skills and caring attitude neighborhood elementary school students than learning instead of PBL.
