    Abstract

    Penelitian ini didasarkan pada permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan, yaitu rendahnya keterampilan menulis siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Rendahnya keterampilan menulis paragraf narasi dan deskripsi dikarenakan guru menggunakan model pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai. Akibat dari hal tersebut, keterampilan siswa kurang berkembang secara optimal. Adapun pemecahan masalahnya, yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran menulis terbimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan pengaruh model pembelajaran menulis terbimbing terhadap keterampilan menulis paragraf narasi dan deskripsi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Control Group Pratest-Posttes. Subjek penelitian sebanyak dua kelas yang terdiri dari kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Masing- masing kelompok berjumlah 30 siswa kelas IV SDN Soka 34 Bandung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes yang terdiri dari prates dan pascates berbentuk esai. Pengolahan data menggunakan pendekatan hierarkhi statistik. Teknik analisis menggunakan SPSS 18 dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu: uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran menulis terbimbing berpengaruh secara sifnifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis paragraf narasi dan deskripsi. Berdasarkan penemuan tersebut, sebaiknya model pembelajaran menulis terbimbing dikembangkan dan diaplikasikan di sekolah dasar karena sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan siswa sekolah dasar dan tuntutan kurikulum. The research was based on the problem, namely the low of students’ writing skill grade IV in elementary school. The low of description and narration paragraph writing skill are caused by unappropriate learning model that the teacher uses. The result of that, the students’ skill did not develop optimally. The problem solving, by using guided writing learning model. The purpose of this research is to find the influence of guided writing learning model toward description and narration paragraph writing skill. The research method use experiment quasi with Control Group Pretest-Posttes. The Subject of research consist of two classes that are used as experiment group and control group. Each of the group consist of 30 students class IV SDN Soka 34 Bandung course year 2014/2015. The data of research are collected by means of test that consist of pretest and posttest, essay. The data processing uses the statistic hierarchical approach. That analysis technique by using SPSS 18 with three stages, namely: normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. The result of research points out that guided writing learning model influences significantly toward description and narration paragraph writing skill. Based on the result, guided writing learning model should be developed and should be implemented in elementary school because it is appropriate with the curriculum indictmen and students’ characteristic developing of elementary school.
