Abstract

Generally,physical education process in elementary school apllies game learning that related to sports which put a priority upon cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspect. The goals of the game learning is to increase the awareness of students about playing concept with appropriate technique according to the circumstance on the game, however the object on this research is about tag games practice. In fact the application of tag games is using simple tools. This paper used action research method with two cycles and two action in each cycle. The sample are 37 fourth grader students from SDN Padasuka Mandiri 1 Kota Cimahi. Basic motion of short distance through the Tag Games become the instrument of this research. The research shows some results as following: the average score of early data is 45,60%, the average score of Cycle I and Action I is 49,85%, the average score of Cycle I and Action II is 53,71%. Meanwhile the average score of Cycle II and Action I is 60.64% and the average score of Cycle II and Action I is 75,84%. Therefore the conclusion based on the results above is the application of tag games can increase the result in basic motion of short distance study on fourth grader students from SDN Padasuka Mandiri 1 Kota Cimahi. Keywords: Basic Motion Sprint Proses pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah dasar pada umumnya menerapkan pembelajaran permainan yang terkait dengan olahraga yang menekankan terhadap aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa tentang konsep bermain dengan penerapan teknik yang tepat sesuai dengan masalah dan situasi dalam permainan, namun yang akan diteliti sekarang yaitu penerapan tag games. Penerapan tag games dalam aktivitasnya menggunakan alat-alat yang sederhana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdapat 2 tindakan. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas IV SDN Padasuka Mandiri 1 Kota Cimahi berjumlah 37 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi hasil belajar keterampilan Gerak Dasar Lari Jarak Pendek Melalui Tag Games yang dibantu oleh dua orang observer. Data awal nilai rata-rata 45,60% Nilai rata-rata pada siklus I tindakan I 49,85% siklus I tindakan II meningkat menjadi nilai rata-rata 53,71% sedangkan siklus II tindakan I terdapat nilai rata-rata 60,64% Siklus II tindakan II meningkat menjadi 75,84% Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan tag games dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar gerak dasar lari jarak pendek kelas IV Padasuka Mandiri 1 Kota Cimahi.
