ANALISIS BUTIR SOAL UJIAN NASIONAL SMA BIDANG FISIKA MENGGUNAKAN TAXONOMY OF INTRODUCTORY PHYSICS PROBLEM (TIPP)(Studi Tiga Tahun Terakhir)

    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem kognitif pada dimensi pengetahuan yang terlibat untuk menyelesaikan soal Ujian Nasional (UN) SMA bidang fisika berdasarkan TIPP (Taxonomy of Introductory Physics Problem). TIPP disusun berdasarkan sebuah taksonomi yakni The New Taxonomy of Educational Objective (NTEO). Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yakni penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Karakteristik TIPP dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis soal dengan lebih baik. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan studi dokumenter soal UN SMA bidang fisika tahun 2014. Dari hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa komposisi sistem kognitif pada dimensi pengetahuan soal UN SMA bidang fisika pada tahun 2014 adalah level (2) Comprehension kategori (2b) menyimbolkan pada domain informasi sebesar 85% dan level (1) Retrieval kategori (1b)mengeksekusi pada domain prosedur mental sebesar 77,5 %. Hasil analisis ini diharapkan dapat memberi gambaran posisi soal UN fisika diantara soal-soal fisika internasional. Selain itu gambaran ini dapat dijadikan bahan referensi saat melatih siswa untuk menhadapi UN atau ujian lainnya serta sebagai referensi dinas terkait dalam menyusun soal UN selanjutnya.

    Purpose of this research is to know about the characteristc of physics UN (Ujian Nasional) problem based on Taxonomy of Introductory Physics Problem (TIPP). TIPP relates physics problems to the cognitive processes required to solve them. The New Taxonomy of Introductory Physics Problem (NTEO) is the basis of TIPP.Caracteristic of TIPP can analyse the problem better than another taxonomies. Data collect method used in this paper is study documenter. The document consist of 2014 UN problem. Problem research method used in this paper is qualitative decriptive. Based on research, show that the most of the cognitive involved to solve the problem is level (2) comprehension category (2b) symolyzing on informasion domain by 85%. Second, level (1)retrieval category (1b) executing on procedure mental domain by 77,5%. The result of this analysis are expected to provide an overview about the position of UN physics problem among physics international problem. In addition , this picture can be uses as a reference when training student for UN or other exam or as references for relevant department in preparing the next UN.
