Abstract

Pentingnya peranan pendidikan jasmani di sekolah adalah guru harus menjadikan siswanya dapat termotivasi dalam belajar secara intrinsik ataupun ekstrinsik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pengaruh dari model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap motivasi belajar dan kemampuan motorik siswa asrama kelas VII, Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII di Pondok PERSIS Tarogong Kabupaten Garut yang bertempat tinggal di asrama (boarding school) berjumlah 30 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan total sampling dan waktu pelaksanaan penelitian selama 12 kali pertemuan dalam 4 minggu, setiap minggu dilakukan penelitian sebanyak 3 hari. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Manova (Multivariate Analisis Varians) menggunakan program software SPSS seri 16. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis rata-rata motivasi belajar pada pelajaran pendidikan jasmani siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT sebesar 14,875 lebih besar dari pada rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran secara konvensional yakni sebesar 5,25. Demikian juga untuk rata-rata kemampuan motorik pada pelajaran pendidikan jasmani siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT sebesar 6,681 lebih besar dari pada rata-rata kemampuan motorik siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran secara konvensional yakni sebesar 4,648. Jadi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional terhadap motivasi belajar dan kemampuan motorik siswa asrama kelas VII pada pelajaran pendidikan jasmani. The importance of the role of physical education in schools is the teacher must make students can be motivated to learn intrinsically or extrinsically . The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of cooperative learning model TGT and conventional learning model to motivate learning and motor skills boarding students of class VII , method used in this study using a pretest - posttest control group design . The study population was a student of class VII in boarding PERSIS Tarogong Garut who reside in dormitories ( boarding school ) amounted to 30 students by using a sampling technique is determined by the total execution time of sampling and research over 12 meetings in 4 weeks , every week as much research 3 days. The results of this study using the calculation hypothesis testing using Manova ( Multivariate Analysis of Variance ) using SPSS software program series 16. Based on the hypothesis test average motivation to learn the lessons of physical education students taught by cooperative learning model of 14.875 TGT greater than the average student motivation taught by conventional learning model which is equal to 5.25 . Likewise for the average motor skills in physical education lessons the students taught by cooperative learning model TGT by 6.681 greater than the average motor skills students taught by conventional learning model which is equal to 4.648 . So TGT cooperative learning model is better than the conventional learning model to motivate learning and motor skills class VII student dormitories in physical education lessons.
