Abstract
Di kota kembang ini tidak sedikit disabilitas tunanetra yang tinggal di Panti Sosial Bina Netra dan bukan tinggal di rumah bersama orang tuanya, pada hakikatnya di sana juga merupakan lingkungan keluarga yang mana orang tua mereka yaitu pembimbing asrama. Mekanisme proses pendidikan atau pola asuh di keluarga/ asrama penting untuk diperhatikan, karena akan melahirkan bekal hidup untuk mereka di masa depan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut pola asuh pembimbing Asrama Aster dalam mengembangkan kemandirian belajar disabilitas tunanetra penting untuk diteliti. Tujuan penelitianya itu mengetahui pola asuh pembimbing asrama aster dalam mengembangkan kemandirian belajar disabilitas tunanetra di Panti Sosial Bina Netra Wyata Guna Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilaksanakan secara trianggulasi yang merupakan gabungan dari observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian data-data tersebut dianalisis sehingga mendapatkan temuan-temuan hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh pembimbing Asrama Aster di Panti Sosial Bina Netra Wyata Guna Bandung yaitu demokratis, ia memiliki sifat yang hangat, selalu mengayomi dan melakukan pola asuh yang sesuai dengan kondisi disabilitas tunanetra di asrama. Kemandirian belajar disabilitas tunanetra di asrama aster yaitu bahwa mereka secara akademik maupun non akademik dapat meraih prestasi dengan baik dan memiliki inisiatif belajar yang mucul dari diri sendiri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis dapat disarankan kepada pembimbing asrama supaya mengembangkan pola asuh pembimbing asrama serta lebih disesuaikan dengan kondisi disabilitas tunanetra, karena mereka merupakan anak-anak spesial yang memiliki kekhasan tertentu. Kemandirian belajar disabilitas tunanetra di Asrama Aster dengan segala prestasi yang telah diraih dan potensi yang mereka miliki dapat dikembangkan lebih optimal, sehingga mereka tanpa terkecuali dapat menjadi pribadi yang unggul, beretika dan berkarakter sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. In Bandung, there is many blind disabilities living in Panti Sosial Bina Netra and not living at home with his parents, and don’t living at home with his parents, in essence there is also a family environment where their parents are supervising the hostel. The mechanism of the process of education or upbringing in the family/ dorm is important to note, because it will give birth to life provision for them in the future. Based on the parenting counselor Aster hostel in developing independent learning disability is important to study the visually impaired. The purpose of research is to know the dorm supervisor parenting daisies in developing independent learning disabilities in Panti Sosial Bina Netra Wyata Guna Bandung. The method used is descriptive method through a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques implemented triangulation which is a combination of observation, interviews and documentation, then the data are analyzed to obtain the findings of the research. Based on the research findings indicate that parenting counselors in Asrama Aster Panti Sosial Bina Netra Wyata Guna Bandung, that’s a democratic parenting, she has a warm nature, always nurturing and perform appropriate parenting with a blind disabilities conditions in the dorm. Independent learning which have blind disabilities in boarding daisies that they can take good academic and non-academic achievements and has a learning initiative which comes from themself. Based on the results of research and analysis can be suggested to the preceptor in order to develop parenting and more adapted to the conditions of blind disabilities, because they are special children who have certain peculiarities. Independent learning which have blind disabilities in Asrama Aster with all the achievements and their potential can be developed optimally, so that they are without exception can be a superior personal, ethical and have a good character as expected.
