Abstract
Masalah yang menjadi kajian dari penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar peserta didik. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar peserta didik, meliputi kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional dan motivasi belajar. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pokok masalah yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauhmana pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui teknik analisis jalur dengan menggunakan statistik parametrik. Alat yang digunakan adalah korelasional (angket) dan penelaahan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan pengolahan dan analisis data diperoleh hasil penelitian: (1) ada berpengaruh positif kompetensi pedagogik terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kriteria sangat rendah, (2) ada berpengaruh positif kompetensi profesional terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kriteria sangat rendah, (3) ada berpengaruh positif motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kriteria rendah, (4) ada berpengaruh positif kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional dan motivasi belajar secara bersamaan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kriteria cukup kuat, (5) ada berpengaruh positif kompetensi pedagogik melalui motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kriteria rendah, (6) ada berpengaruh positif kompetensi profesional melalui motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan kriteria rendah, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian memperoleh gambaran bahwa kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi profesional dan motivasi belajar di SMP Provinsi Yala Thailand berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Rekomendasi yang dapat penulis berikan yaitu peserta didik harus bersemangat dan minat dalam belajar. Pendidik perlu meningkatkan kompetensinya antar lain dengan mengikuti diklat, peningkatan pendidikan pendidik, dan melakukan berbagai penelitian tindakan kelas. Bagi Sekolah dan Pemerintah, hendaklah memberikan dorongan kepada pendidik agar dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional pendidik dengan cara memberikan dukungan sarana dan prasarana bagi pendidik sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. The problem examined in this study is student’s learning outcome. The core of its study is focused on factors which influence student’s learning outcome, comprise pedagogic competence, professional competence and learning motivation. Based on that matter, the main problem which is revealed in this study is how far the influence of pedagogic competence, professional competence and learning motivation toward student’s learning outcome. This study use survey method by quantitative approach through path analysis technique by using parametric statistic. Instrument used is correlation (questionnaire) and documentary study. Based on data analysis and processing, results of study are obtained as follow: (1) there is positive influence of pedagogic competence toward student’s learning outcome with very low criteria, (2) there is positive influence of professional competence toward student’s learning outcome with very low criteria, (3) there is positive influence of learning motivation toward student’s learning outcome with low criteria, (4) there is positive influence of pedagogic competence, professional competence and learning motivation concurrently toward student’s learning outcome with good enough criteria, (5) there is positive influence of pedagogic competence through learning motivation toward student’s learning outcome with low criteria, (6) there is positive influence of professional competence through learning motivation toward student’s learning outcome toward with low criteria, as for the rest is influenced by another factor which is not examined in this study. From result of study, the description is obtained that pedagogic competence, professional competence, and learning motivation in Junior High School in Yala Province, Thailand give positive and significant influence to student’s learning outcome. Recommendation which can be given by students are that students should have spirit and interest in learning. Educators should enhance their competence among other by following education and training, educator’s education enhancement, and conduct various class action researches. For School and Government, it is better to give encouragement to educators in order they can enhance their pedagogic competence and professional competence by giving infrastructure support for educators so they can enhance student’s learning outcome.
