Abstract

Latar belakang masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis web menggunakan office online sebagai salah satu proses meningkatkan pembelajarn. Penelitian ini berangkat dari pokok permasalahan mengenai “apakah pembelajaran berbasis web dengan menggunakan aplikasi office online efektif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dibanding dengan pembelajaran konvensional dalam pembelajaran simulasi digital materi pokok pemanfaatan aplikasi pengolah kata?”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretes postes kontrol grup. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah jenis tes objektif pilihan ganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Bandung dengan sampel penelitian siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran–3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa X Administrasi Perkantoran–1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis web menggunakan office online efektif dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat direkomendasikan kepada guru dan peneliti selanjutnya dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi office online yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

The background that becomes a study in this research is the effectiveness of a web-based learning uses office online as one of the process to increase learning. This research started with the main problem about “is the web-based learning uses office online application effective to improve student outcomes learning compared with convensional learning of simulasi digital subject, with the main subject is the utilization of word-processing application?”. This research used experiment quasi method with design research that is group control pre-test post-test. The instrument used multiple choice as objective test. The population in this research are the students grade X Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 3 Bandung with the sample of the research are the students grade X of Office Administration-3 as the experiment class and the students grade X of Office Administration–1 as the control class. Results in this research was indicated that the web-based learning uses office online is effective to improve student learning outcomes. Research can be recommended to teachers and next researchers in utilizing of office online application used in learning process.
