Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini berawal dari pertanyaan bagaimana mengenalkan Tuhan pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan upaya verbal, mengidentifikasi situasi tutur, ruang lingkup pembahasan, sejauh mana tuturan-tuturan dapat dimengerti oleh siswa, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan upaya verbal dalam penanaman nilai eksistensi Tuhan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-analitis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah tiga orang guru wali kelas II, IV dan VI SDN Sindangraja Kabupaten Sumedang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi, angket, format wawancara dan dokumentasi. Validasi data yang digunakan yaitu teknik member check, triangulasi, dan expert opinion. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh data bahwa jenis tindak tutur guru berdasarkan klasifikasi Austin adalah tindak tutur ilokusi dan perlokusi, sedangkan tindak ilokusi yang ditemukan berdasarkan teori Searle terklasifikasi menjadi ilokusi asertif, direktif, komisif, ekpresif, dan deklaratif. Situasi tutur yang digunakan guru adalah pada saat kegiatan awal, penyampaian materi, penyampaian nasihat situasional, dan kegiatan akhir. Ruang lingkup pembahasan adalah mengenai ungkapan rasa syukur, sifat-sifat Tuhan, kebiasaan beribadah, perilaku yang disukai dan tidak disukai Tuhan, dan pengetahuan keagamaan. Pemahaman siswa mengenai tindak tutur yang digunakan guru adalah untuk siswa kelas rendah hanya mampu memahami makna langsung dari kalimat, sedangkan untuk siswa kelas tinggi telah mampu memahami maksud dibalik tuturan. Terakhir, hambatan yang ditemukan guru adalah mencakup gaya belajar siswa yang cenderung terlalu aktif, sulitnya guru mengkorelasikan materi pembelajaran dengan nilai eksistensi Tuhan, adanya pengaruh negatif dari globalisasi, cara penyampaian materi oleh guru yang kurang dipahami siswa, kurangnya persiapan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dan kurangnya pendidikan nilai eksistensi Tuhan yang diperoleh siswa dalam keluarga. The background of this study is started from the questions of how to introduce God for primary school age children. The aims of this study are to describe the verbal efforts , to identify the situation of speech, the scope of the discussion regarding, to identify to which extent the speech is understandable for students, as well as to identify the barriers of verbal efforts in infusing the value of the existence of God. This study employs descriptive-analytic methodThe subjects of this study were three class-teachers of grade II, IV and VI at SDN Sindangraja Sumedang. This data of this study were obtained from observation sheets, questionnaires, interviews and documentation format. To validate the data member check techniques, triangulation, and expert opinion were used. The results from this study showed that speech acts which based on the classification Austin were illocutionary speech acts and perlocusion, whereas illocutionary acts found, based on Searle's theory, was divided into illocutionary assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, and declarative. The speech situations used by the teachers are in the initial activity, in delivering the materials, in delivering situational advice, and in weekend activities. The scope of the discussion is the expression of gratitude, the attributes of God, worship habits, behaviors that liked and disliked by God, and religious knowledge. Students' understanding of the speech acts which used by teachers is that low-grade students are only able to understand the meaning of the sentence immediately, while higher grade students have been able to understand the meaning behind the speech. Finally, the barriers which found by teachers included learning styles of students who tend to be active, the difficulty of correlating learning materials with the value of God's existence, the negative effects of globalization, the way teachers delivered contents which are poorly understood by students, the lack of preparation of teaching and learning undertaken by teacher, and the lack of educational value obtained student of God's existence in their family.
