Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya nilai hasil belajar siswa di SDN Banyuhurip. Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa disebabkan karena guru masih menggunakan metode konvensional yaitu ceramah. Data ini diperoleh dari hasil penelitian awal peneliti dengan memberikan latihan soal mengenai topik cahaya di SDN Banyuhurip, dari jumlah keseluruhan 39 orang siswa, 25 siswa masih di bawah KKM, dan 14 siswa yang nilainya di atas KKM. Dan persentasenya yaitu 64,1% yang di bawah KKM dan 35,9% yang di atas KKM. Berdasarkan permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut, harus ada upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas V SDN Banyuhurip. Upaya yang dilakukan peneliti untuk meningkatkannya yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together dan media untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sifat-sifat cahaya di SDN Banyuhurip Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran IPA materi sifat-sifat cahaya melalui penerapan model Numbered Heads Together, bagaimanakah pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA materi sifat-sifat cahaya melalui penerapan model Numbered Heads Together, dan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA materi sifat-sifat cahaya setelah diterapkannya model Numbered Heads Together. Penelitian didesain dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) terdiri dari tiga siklus, dan dengan materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Penerapan model Numbered Heads Together meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Banyuhurip pada pembelajaran sifat-sifat cahaya. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada hasil tes siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata kelas 68,3 dengan ketuntasan belajar 43,6%, siklus II mencapai nilai rata-rata 78,7 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 53,8%, dan siklus III mencapai nilai rata-rata 86,9 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 87,2%. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Numbered Heads Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN Banyuhurip Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Rekomendasi bagi guru yaitu guru dapat membantu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model Numbered Heads Together pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya di kelas V. Efforts by researchers to improve the learning model by using Numbered Heads Together and media to improve student learning outcomes in teaching science material properties of light in SDN BanyuhuripLembang District of West Bandung regency. This study was conducted to determine how the science lesson plan material properties of light through the application of the Numbered Heads Together, how the implementation of science teaching materials properties of light through the application of the Numbered Heads Together, and to determine student learning outcomes in science learning material properties light after the implementation of the model Numbered Heads Together. Research designed to Classroom Action Research (CAR) consists of three cycles, and the material properties of light. The application of the model Numbered Heads Together classes improve student learning outcomes in learning SDN Banyuhurip properties of light. This can be seen in the first cycle test results with an average value of 68.3 with mastery learning class 43.6%, the second cycle reached an average value of 78.7 with 53.8% completeness level, and the third cycle reaches average values 86.9 average with 87.2% completeness level. Based on the data obtained it can be concluded that the application of Numbered Heads Together models can improve learning outcomes fifth grade students of SDN BanyuhuripLembang District of West Bandung regency. Recommendations for teachers that teachers can help improve student learning outcomes by applying the model Numbered Heads Together on the material properties of light in class V.
