Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan mahasiswa dalam mempelajari keterampilan bermain squash, adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh yang signifikan media audio visual terhadap keterampilan bermain squash. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah experimen dengan desain preetest-posttest control group desain. Dalam penelitian ini sampel berjumlah 20 orang (10 orang kelompok eksperimen dan10 orang kelompok kontrol) dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Tes Keterampilan Bermain Squash dan Lembar Observasi Keterampilan Dalam Bermain Squash. Semua data dianalisis dengan rumus uji signifikansi menggunakan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata(satu pihak) dengan bantuan Program Microsoft Excel 2010. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa kelompok eksperimen memiliki nilai thitung sebesar 2,32 dibandingkan dengan ttabel sebesar 1,734 harga dari daftar distribusi t untuk α = 0,05 atau 5% dan dk=n1+n2-2. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Media Audio Visual memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Keterampilan Bermain Squash pada Mahasiswa FPOK UPI yang mengikuti UKM Squash. The aim of this study was to figure out if there is any significant relationship between the use of audio-visual media and the students’ squash ability as learning outcome. The method used is experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. In the present study, the number of sample is 20 participants (10 participants in experimental group and 10 participants in the control group). This reseach using total sampling tecnique. The instruments used are Squash Ability Test and Observation Sheet in Playing Squash. All data were analyzed with a significance test formula using two-average compliance testing (one-sided) by employing Microsoft Excel 2010. Result of the analysis shows that the experimental group has a tobtained value of 2.32. This is Larger by 1.734 than the tcrit from the distribution table for α = 0.05 or 5% dk=n1+n2-2. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Audio-Visual media gives a significant influence on FPOK Students’ Ability in Playing Squash who enrolled in Squash UKM.
