Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah karena kondisi faktual pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan kewirausahaan warga belajar Keaksaraan Usaha Mandiri (KUM) di Kabupaten Karawang kurang baik. Berdasarkan pada kondisi tersebut, pengembangan pelatihan kewirausahaan dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan kewirausahaan warga belajar KUM. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada : 1) kondisi faktual program KUM, 2) kondisi kompetensi kewirausahaan warga belajar KUM, 3) konsep model pelatihan kewirausahaan, 4) implementasi model pelatihan kewirausahaan, dan 5) efektivitas model pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal bagi warga belajar KUM di Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan Research and Development (R&D). Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidasi model pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal bagi warga belajar KUM. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan khusus tentang masalah yang bersifat praktis melalui applied research, yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kewirausahaan warga belajar KUM melalui praktik pelatihan kewirausahaan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa : 1) kondisi faktual program KUM di Kabupaten Karawang, merupakan program pendidikan kewirausahaan bagi warga belajar KUM melalui kegiatan belajar dan berusaha. 2) kondisi kompetensi pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan kewirausahaan bagi warga belajar KUM menunjukkan kurang baik. 3) landasan konseptual pengembangan model pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi warga belajar KUM mengacu kepada konsep pelatihan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan, pengalaman, keterampilan dan perubahan sikap menjadi wirausahawan, 4) implementasi pengembangan model pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi warga belajar KUM berdasarkan identifikasi kebutuhan belajar, penyusunan kurikulum dan perumusan materi pelatihan, penyusunan strategi, metode, media dan alat serta sistem penilaian pelatihan, dan 5) model pelatihan kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal, terbukti efektif dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan kewirausahaan warga belajar KUM. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian merekomendasikan bagi : 1) rekontruksi Pendidikan Kewirausahaan Masyarakat, model pelatihan ini cukup efektif dijadikan model pengembangan kewirausahaan, 2) Pemerintah Daerah sebagai penentu dan pengambil kebijakan, penelitian ini memberikan penguatan standar peningkatan kompetensi kewirausahaan bagi warga belajar KUM, 3) praktisi Pendidikan Kewirausahaan Masyarakat, penerapan model pelatihan kewirausahaan ini, pada taraf implementasinya memerlukan komitmen yang kuat dan berkesinambungan dari pengelola program pelatihan kewirausahaan masyarakat, dan 4) penelitian lebih lanjut, salah satunya dalam rangka diseminiasi model pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi warga belajar KUM yang lebih luas di Kabupaten Karawang. Based on the conditions, the development of entrepreneurship training conducted to improve the competence of knowledge, attitude and entrepreneurial skills learners KUM. This study focused on 1) the factual conditions program for KUM, 2) the condition of entrepreneurial competencies, 3) the concept model of entrepreneurship training, 4) implementation model of entrepreneurship training, and 5) the effectiveness model of entrepreneurship training. The study employed an method of Research and Development (R&D). The approach of R & D aims to develop and validate development of entrepreneurship training. This study aims to answer specific questions about practical problems through applied research, which is used to improve the competence of knowledge, attitude and entrepreneurial skills learners KUM with entrepreneurship training. The results of the study conclude that: 1) the factual condition of KUM program in Karawang, which is an entrepreneurship education program for KUM learners through learning and trying. 2) the condition of knowledge competence, attitude and entrepreneurial skills for learners of KUM is not good enough. 3) the conceptual basis of the development of entrepreneurship training model for KUM learners that refers to the concept of training designed to improve the competence of knowledge, experience, and skills and changing attitudes to entrepreneurs. 4) implementation of model development of entrepreneurship training for KUM learners based on the identification of learning needs of KUM curriculum development and the formulation of training materials, preparation of strategies, methods, media and tools as well as system of training assessment, and 5) entrepreneurship training model based on local potential for KUM learners in Karawang is evidently effective can improve the knowledge, attitude and entrepreneurial skills of the learners of KUM. Based on findings, it is recommended that : 1) to the reconstruction of Entrepreneurship Education of Society, this training model is effective to be a model of entrepreneurship development, 2) to the local government as a policy maker, this study provides guidelines of entrepreneurship competency standards for KUM learners, 3) to the practitioners of society entrepreneurship education, the application of entrepreneurship training model, in the implementation process requires a good and sustainable management commitment by the organizer of society entrepreneurship program, and 4) for further research, one is to disseminate the model, through this research is not known how far the developed model in this research can be applied by the learners of KUM in Karawang.
