Abstract
Problems of this research is How parenting parents in growing discipline of early childhood in the family environment. The purpose of this study is to obtain data on: 1) the process of parenting parents in growing discipline of early childhood in the family; 2) results parenting parents in growing discipline of early childhood in the family; 3) factors that influence parenting parents in growing discipline of early childhood in a family environment ;. The study of the theory used in this study consisted of family concept, the concept of early childhood, parenting concept, the concept of discipline. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation study. The steps of data collection in this study starts from the preparation phase, the implementation phase, the reporting stage. Research subjects in this study are two families in the village Cipeundeuy, Bantarujeg districts, counties Majalengka who have young children aged 4 years. Based on data processing and discussion, the result of research on (1) the process of parenting foster parents in early childhood discipline are: to give freedom to the child without restrictions and rules of the parents (permissive parenting), offered an opportunity for children to express their opinions , give praise or a reward for good behavior of children, guiding and directing without imposing the will of the child, has a clear view of the future of children (parenting democratic), giving an example. konsiten done, and provide direction and guidance. (2) The results of parenting discipline of young children in the family environment include: discipline the child in the care of yourself, discipline yourself to cleanliness, discipline when eating, discipline in worship, and discipline in the neighborhood residence. (3) factors that influence parenting parents in growing discipline are: Internal factors include education, economic, employment and external factors include playmates, living environment and cultural upbringing. From the results of this study concluded that parenting parents in growing discipline of early childhood in a family environment in the process of using permissive parenting and democratic, giving examples done consistently with the guiding and directing, the result in the child already growing discipline in day-activities today, factors influencing internal factors include education, economic, employment and external factors include playmates, living environment and cultural upbringing.
