Abstract
Studi ini dimaksudkan memperoleh gambaran berkenaan dengan konsep Nilai-Moral dalam konteks Kewarganegaraan yang terdapat pada ‘jejak-bangun’ kehidupan kultural masyarakat Sunda. Penelitian diawali secara tekstual pada himpunan ungkapan yang telah ditulis para ahli sebagai kekayaan sastra lisan masyarakat dan selebihnya dari kehidupan langsung anggota lingkungan pemelihara adat kebudayaan Sunda. ‘Nilai Moral Kewarganegaraan’ sebagai ide normatif telah cukup memenuhi standar acuan baik secara kurikuler di sekolah maupun sub-institusi yang ada di tengah masyarakat, khususnya komunitas pemelihara adat-budaya lokal di Jawa barat. Bahwa ‘pendidikan’ di dalam praksisnya adalah proses dinamis timbal-balik antara sekolah dan masyarakat yang berlangsung terus-menerus, secara sinergis diharapkan dapat saling membuahkan pengetahuan dan pemuliaan kehidupan yang dicita-citakan. Karena itu, penelusuran subtansi nilai sebagai rujukan ideal-filosofis dan praksis-pedagogisnya pada ‘jejak-bangun kehidupan kultural lokal masyarakat menjadi pilihan strategis yang dapat dilakukan. Pertanyaan penelitiannya dirumuskan :1) Bagaimanakah konsep nilai-moral yang ada pada sejumlah simbol kepercayaan masyarakat Sunda memberi sumbangan pengayaan makna dan pertanda pada tujuan pembelajaran PKn di sekolah ?; 2) Bagaimana ragam artikulasi muatan nilai-moral yang hidup dalam ujaran lisan menjadi tindakan kultural dalam persfektif kehidupan politik masyarakat pendukung system budaya lokal, baik sebagai etika politik maupun etos kewarganegaraan masyarakat Sunda?; 3) Bagaimanakah model penanaman dan pengembangan nilai-moral kewarganegaraan sebagai alat dan tujuan ‘pendidikan politik’ baik dalam kurikulum sekolah dan organisasi kemasyarakatan berbasis sosial kultural lokal di Tatar Sunda ?. Data yang digunakan antara lain : 1) Opsi konseptual sejumlah ungkapan dalam semiotika Sunda; 2) Ragam artikulasi dalam kehidupan sosial dalam bentuk reka-seni pertunjukan dan 3) Implementasi sosial sebagai model edukasi berupa ritual sosial / upacara. Penghimpunan artefak kehidupan kultural dapat dipetik dari beberapa sumber, baik bersifat tekstual dan tuturan lisan dari sejumlah subjek penelitian berkenaan dengan ungkapan dalam ragam dan jenisnya, bentuk pemeliharaan dan pengembangan model artikulasi dan implikasi edukasi pada masyarakat pendukungnya. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutik yakni model penafsiran filosofik meliput analisis semiotik-semantik hingga tematik, yang dalam idiom Sunda disebut Pancacuriga : silib-sindir-sampir-siloka-sasmita. Sesuai dengan sifat kualitatif, deskripsi hasilnya dapat digambarkan bahwa : 1) Himpunan gagasan yang terdapat dalam ungkapan yang bersifat mendasar, khususnya berkenaan dengan isi berupa babasan, paribasa, uga dan caturrangga telah menjadi sumber ajaran moral. Sebagai karya sastra kolektif, memiliki dimensi artikulasinya sendiri. namun berdasar sifatnya yang melekat dalam dirinya meliput bentuk, isi, cara dan fungsinya sebagai media hinga model; 2) Memiliki medium artikulasi yang luas, komprehensif dan ekspresif selain konseptual-verbal, berupa atraksi pertunjukan dan pergelaran seni tradisional yang terpelihara sebagai peninggalan dan alat pembelajaran; dan 3) Menunjukan aktualitas kompleksnya sebagai model pendidikan dan pembelajaran sosial kultural, yang bersifat praksis dan langsung melalui kegiatan tradisi upacara, baik bersifat personal maupun sosial yang bersifat masif. Kata Kunci : Nilai Moral Kewarganegaraan, Ethos, Artefak, Babasan, Paribasa, Uga, Caturrangga, Pancacuriga : Silib-Sindir-Sampir-Siloka-Sasmita The study attempts to describe the concept of Moral Values in the context of citizenship which is written in the ‘path-built’ of Sundanese community cultural life.This study began textually from the set of utterances written by the experts as an oral literature wealth. Furthermore, it was also built from the real life of the member of the Sundanese-culture tradition keeper. The ‘Citizenship Moral Values’ as a normative idea has fulfilled the standard guidance as a curricular matter in a school context, as well as in a sub-institution among the society, especially the supporter of custom conservation communities in West Java. Practically, ‘education’ is a mutual dynamic process between school and society which happens continually, sinergically, it is hoped, resulted in knowledge and glorious of lives that have been dreamt about. Therefore, the searching of substantial values as references of ideal-philosophic and practical-pedagogy of local society cultural life artefact could be one of the strategic choices to be implemented. The research questions are formulated as follow: 1) How is the concept of values-moral that exists in the number of the Sundanese community’s faith symbol contributes to the meaning enrichment and premonition to the aims of Citizenship Education?; 2) How is the variety of moral values content articulation that lives in the spoken acts become cultural acts in the perspective of the local culture supporters society’s political lives, as a political ethic, as well as Sundanese society’s citizenship ethos?; 3) How is the implant and improvement model of citizenship moral values as a tool and a goal of ‘political education’ in the school curriculum as well as in the local socio cultural-based community organization in Sundanese area? The data being used in this study are: 1) Conceptual option of a number of Sundanese semiotic expressions, 2) Variety of articulation in the social life in the form of art-creation performance and 3) Social implementation as an educated model in a form of social ritual/ ceremonial. The collection of life artefacts could be withdrawn from several sources, such as textual spoken acts from a number of research subjects in relation with the expression in different manner and types, the form of maintenance and development of articulation model and educational implication to its supporter society. The data analysis was conducted using the hermeneutic approach, the philosophic exegesis model which covers semiotic-semantic to themes analysis, in Sundanese idioms called as Pancacuriga: silib-sindir-sampir-siloka-sasmita. In accordance to the qualitative traits, the result could be escribed as: `1) The compilation of ideas that is lay in the expression has a fundamental nature, especially related to the content in the form of babasan, paribasa, uga and caturrangga have become the source of moral teaching. As a collective literature, it has its own articulated dimension, according to its traits which covers its form, content, way and function as a media as well as a model; 2) It has a wide articulation medium, comprehensive and expressive besides conceptual-verbal, in a form of performance attraction and traditional art performance which is nurtured as a reminder and learning tool; and 3) It shows its complex actuality as an education model and socio-cultural learning, which has a practise and straight nature through the ritual/ceremonial activity, personally, socially and massively.
