Abstract

Pembelajaran seni grafis menggunakan proses cetak saring (sablon) dengan teknik block out di SLB ABCD Asyifa adalah sebuah kegiatan penelitian berdasarkan sebuah permasalahan sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimanakah implementasi metode pembelajaran seni grafis (teknik sablon) kepada siswa tunagrahita ringan, (2) Bagaimanakah kecenderungan minat belajar siswa tunagrahita ringan pada saat pembelajaran seni grafis berlangsung, (3) Bagaimanakah unsur visual pada karya siswa tunagrahita ringan setelah selesai pembelajaran seni grafis (teknik sablon). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data dan informasi tentang pembelajaran seni grafis dengan menggunakan teknik sablon serta menganalisis hasil karya anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB ABCD Asyifa. Penderita tunagrahita ringan memiliki karakteristik yang hampir sama dengan anak normal lainnya, Sutjihati Somantri mengatakan bahwa anak tunagrahita ringan dapat dididik menjadi tenaga kerja semi skilled dengan sedikit pengawasan. Anak tunagrahita ringan masih dapat menerima pembelajaran seni grafis dengan teknik cetak sablon. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan dalil yang dikemukakan oleh Roseline Davido dalam menginterpretasi karya. Penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yakni: observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi. Data yang penulis dapatkan dianalisis melalui hasil pembelajaran dan interpretasi karya anak yang disajikan dalam bentuk deskripsi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa anak tunagrahita ringan mampu menerima pembelajaran walaupun harus selalu dalam pengawasan dan bantuan dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran direct introduction, cooperative learning dan peer tutorial. Mereka sangat tertarik terhadap pembelajaran cetak sablon dikarenakan pembelajaran ini adalah hal baru bagi mereka. Hasil gambar dari karya setiap siswa menunjukan bahwa mereka memang termasuk anak tunagrahita dengan umur kecerdasan yang tidak sesuai dengan umurnya. Selain itu lingkungan berpengaruh terhadap imajinasi mereka. Kata kunci: Tunagrahita, semi skilled, seni grafis, cetak saring (sablon), direct introduction, cooperative learning, peer tutorial. Learning graphic art of using the process of screen printing (canvass) with engineering block out on the SLB ABCD Asyifa is a the research activity based on a problem as follows: (1) a method of learning how will implementation of the graphic arts (engineering canvass) to the students feebleminded light, (2) or how can response and interest students feebleminded light at the time of learning goes on, the graphic arts (3) what will be the element of the visual on the work of students feebleminded mild following the completion of learning the graphic arts (engineering canvass).The aim of this research is to obtain data and information about the learning of graphic art canvass by using a technique and analyze the work of a child feebleminded mild in SLB ABCD Asyifa. Sufferers feebleminded mild having the characteristics of nearly the same as a normal other Sutjihati Somantri said that the child feebleminded light can be educated being in labor spring skilled with little oversight. The son feebleminded light can still receive learning graphic art and technique of printing canvass. In this research the use writers a postulate put forward by Roseline Davido in interpretation piece of work. The use writers a method of qualitative with the technique of collecting data people--the observation, interview documentation, and triangulation. The data writer get analyzed through result of learning and interpretation of works children who served in the form of description. Based on this research result can be concluded that child feebleminded mild capable of receiving learning although must always be in monitoring and assistance by using the method of learning direct introduction, cooperative learning and peer tutorials. They are very interested to canvass of learning a print because of learning this is a new thing for them. The result of drawing of the work of every student showed that they were actually including children feebleminded the age of intelligence which do not correspond with his age.
