Abstract

Musik Genteng Sebagai Media Kreativitas Bermusik (Studi Analisis Karya Komposisi “Menuju Kesana”) adalah judul penelitian yang mengkaji sebuah hasil kreativitas yang lahir dan berkembang di masyarakat desa Jatisura. Genteng yang dijadikan media musikal dapat dijadikan suatu gagasan yang menarik dalam menciptakan karya musik. Penelitian ini membahas masalah penggarapan dan analisis bentuk komposisi musik genteng. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriftif analisis melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan bantuan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, literatur dan sistem analisis. Data yang terhimpun dianalisis melalui teknik reduksi, display dan verifikasi data. Hasil temuan yang diperoleh dari proses penggarapan musik genteng diawali dengan pembuatan berbagai instrumen musiknya yang terbuat dari tanah liat kemudian terwujud sebuah ide bermusik yang dinamakan dengan musik genteng. Dari proses penggarapan tersebut menghasilkan suatu karya musik hasil kreativitas grup Hanyaterra yang berjudul komposisi “Menuju Kesana” didalamnya terdapat ide garap mengandung unsur-unsur musikal yang estetik dan artistik. Music genteng as a musical creativity Media (Study analizes of composition "Menuju Kesana") is the title of study that evaluate a result of the creativity which was born and developed in rural communities of Jatisura. Genteng can be used as a musical media an interesting idea in creating a piece of music. This study was addressed the issue of the compose process and forms composition analysis of music genteng. The method that used is descriptive analysis of qualitative approach with the help of observation, interviews, documentation, literature and analysis system. The data collected were analyzed through reduction techniques, display and data verification. The findings obtained from the compose process music genteng begins with making the various musical instruments made from clay and then realized a musical idea called the music genteng. From the compose process to produce a piece of music creativity, Hanyaterra grup made a composition entitled "Menuju Kesana” within idea of working on containing the elements of musical aesthetic and artistic.
