Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan rangkaian prosedur dan prinsip-prinsip pelaksanaan intervensi terhadap anak dengan hambatan komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus. Instrument penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah prosedur pelaksanaan intervensi dan pirinsip dalam melakukan intervensi. Prosedur intervensi terdiri dari identifikasi, asesmen, perencanaan program dan pembuatan media, pelaksanaan intervensi, evaluasi, modifikasi, dan rekomendasi. Sementara prinsipnya adalah edukasi orang tua, melibatkan orang tua, dan memperhatikan aspek perkembangan. Temuan lain dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya aspek penting dalam melakukan intervensi, selanjutnya pada kasus ini anak dengan hambatan komunikasi memiliki perilaku maladaptif, dan pada pelaksanaan intervensi kelompok menggunakan metode semi-trial and error. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan kepada para professional diharapkan prosedur dan prinsip yang peneliti temukan dapat sebagai acuan dalam pelaksanaan intervensi terhadap anak denngan hambatan komunikasi dan direkomendasikan kepada peneliti berikutnya agar dapat meneliti lebih lanjut sehubung dengan penelitian ini. Kata Kunci : Intervensi, prosedur, dan prinsip The purpose of this study is to find a series of procedures and principles of implementation of the intervention towards children with communication impairment. This study uses qualitative research methods with the case study strategy. The research instrument using interviews and documentation. The results of this research are the implementation of intervention procedures and the principles of intervention. The intervention procedure consists of identification, assessment, program planning and media production, implementation of the intervention, evaluation, modification, and recommendation. While the principles are educating parents, involving parents, observing the development aspect, giving instructions, and giving reward and punishment. This research is recommended to the professionals and expected the range of procedures and principles can be used as a reference in the implementation of the intervention towards children with communication impairment. The next recommendation to the next researchers is to analyze deeper on the research findings in relation to maladaptive behaviors that appear towards children with communication impairment, what causes such behavior arises, how to handle it and also about the method of semi-trial and error which the researcher has found.
