Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan butir soal piktorial yang dapat mengukur pengetahuan penguasaan konseptual siswa SMA pada materi konsep mol yang memenuhi kriteria berdasarkan validitas isi, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Pengembangan dan Validasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Karawang dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 87 siswa kelas XI yang telah mempelajari materi konsep mol. Butir soal piktorial yang dikembangkan sebanyak 22 soal. Berdasarkan uji validitas isi dengan CVR, diperoleh 21 butir soal yang valid secara isi. Reliabilitas tes piktorial sebesar 0.79, yaitu termasuk ke dalam kriteria baik. Tingkat kesukaran butir soal piktorial yang termasuk ke dalam kriteria mudah 62%, kriteria sedang 28%, dan kriteria sukar 10%. Daya pembeda soal yang termasuk ke dalam kriteria sangat baik 57%, kriteria cukup 38%, dan kriteria kurang 5%. Nilai rata-rata persentase jawaban benar tes piktorial lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan tes naratif. Hal ini menunjukkan sebagian besar soal piktorial lebih memudahkan siswa dalam memahami permasalahan dalam soal dibandingkan tes naratif. Hasil angket terhadap siswa dan wawancara terhadap guru menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa dan guru memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan tes piktorial. This study aimed to produce pictorial items to measure the mastery of conceptual knowledge of senior high students on mole concept material that meet the criteria based on content validity, reliability, difficulty index, and discriminative power. Method used in this study is The Development and Validation method. This study was conducted in one of the public high schools in the city of Karawang with 87 of second grade students as the subject who has studied the concept mole material. There were 22 pictorial items which have been developed. Based on the content validity by the CVR, there were 21 valid items. The reliability value of the pictorial items is 0.79, which appertains under good criteria. The difficulty index of pictorial items is 62% at easy criteria, 28% at middle criteria, and 10% at hard criteria. The discriminative power of pictorial items is 57% at very good criteria, 38% at fair criteria and 5% at poor criteria. The average percentage of the correct answers of the pictorial test is higher than the narrative test. It showed that the pictorial test is better to help students in solving problems than the narrative test. The results of questionnaire for the student and interviews with the teachers showed that most of the students and the teachers have a positive response to the use of pictorial test.
