    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Cognitive Reappraisal dan Expressive Suppression dengan sikap moral pada atlet beladiri usia 12 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah atlet beladiri usia 12 tahun dari berbagai cabang olahraga beladiri yang berada di Kota Bandung, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 orang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Emotion Regulation Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents (ERQ-CA) dan Attitudes to Moral Decision making in Sport Questionnaires-2 (AMDYSQ-2). Skor rata-rata Cognitive Reappraisal, Expressive Suppression dan sikap moral berada pada kategori cukup. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan hasil yang kompleks, Cognitive Reappraisal dan Keeping Winning In Proportion menghasilkan nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05 dengan nilai r 0,270 artinya hubungan tersebut rendah. Sedangkan, Expressive Suppression dengan Acceptance of Cheating menghasilkan nilai sig. 0,001 < 0,05 dengan nilai r 0,322 artinya hubungan tersebut rendah. Dan Expressive Suppression dengan Acceptance of Gamesmanship menghasilkan nilai sig. 0,001 < 0,05 dengan nilai r 0,315 artinya hubungan tersebut rendah. Jadi, penelitian ini menujukan bahwa atlet yang cenderung menggunakan Cognitive Reappraisal akan menghasilkan perilaku yang positif sedangkan atlet yang menggunakan Expressive Suppression akan cenderung berperilaku negatif. : This study aims to determine the relationship between Cognitive Reappraisal and Expressive Suppression with moral attitudes in 12-year-old martial arts athletes. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a correlational approach. The research population consists of 12-year-old martial arts athletes from various martial arts disciplines in Bandung City, with a sample size of 100 participants selected using purposive sampling. The instruments used were the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire for Children and Adolescents (ERQ-CA) and the Attitudes to Moral Decision Making in Sport Questionnaires-2 (AMDYSQ-2). The average scores for Cognitive Reappraisal, Expressive Suppression, and moral attitudes were in the moderate category. The results of the data analysis showed complex findings, with Cognitive Reappraisal and Keeping Winning In Proportion yielding a sig. 0.000 < 0.05 with a value of r 0.270, meaning the relationship is low. Meanwhile, Expressive Suppression with Acceptance of Cheating produced a sig. 0.001 < 0.05 with a value of r 0.322, meaning the relationship is low. And Expressive Suppression with Acceptance of Gamesmanship produced a sig. of 0.001 < 0.05 with an r value of 0.315, indicating a low correlation. Thus, this study shows that athletes who tend to use Cognitive Reappraisal will exhibit positive behavior, while athletes who use Expressive Suppression will tend to exhibit negative behavior.
