Abstract
The background of this study is the low mastery of basic passing techniques in students, even though their interest in futsal is very high. This study uses an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. This study aims to determine the effect of Small Sided Games (SSG) training on the passing accuracy of futsal extracurricular students at SMAN 10 Bogor City. The subjects of the study were 20 futsal extracurricular students at SMAN 10 Bogor City who were then divided into two groups, namely the experimental group of 10 people who were given Small Sided Games training and the control group of 10 people using conventional training methods. The research instrument was a passing accuracy test conducted before (pretest) and after (posttest) the treatment. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the passing accuracy of the experimental group after being given SSG training. The average pretest score of the experimental group was 13.27, increasing to 17.47 in the posttest. Meanwhile, the control group experienced an increase from an average of 13.20 in the pretest to 14.67 in the posttest. The results of the statistical test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant effect of Small Sided Games training on students' passing accuracy. Thus, SSG is recommended as an alternative method in futsal training programs in schools to optimize mastery of basic techniques and playing skills.
