Abstract
ABSTRAK : Dewasa ini masih terdapat remaja yang kurang memiliki kepercayaan diri, disebabkan oleh keraguan dan keyakinan dalam berperilaku sesuai keinginan atau mengemukakan gagasan di depan khalayak ramai salah satunya dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu lembaga PNF yakni Homesschooling Taman Sekar Bandung menerapkan metode diskusi pada pembelajaran yang menciptakan kepercayaan diri peserta didik. Penelitian ini diakukan untuk mengetahui proses metode diskusi dalam meningkatkan sikap percaya diri peserta didik, hasil penerapan metode diskusi dalam meningkatkan sikap percaya diri peserta didik, dan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat penerapan metode disksusi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskrptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian sebanyak 6 orang yakni 1 koodinator Paket C, 2 tutor, dan 3 peserta didik. Dari penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa :1) Penerapan metode diskusi dilakukan melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penutupan, metode diskusi yang digunakan ialah metode diskusi kelompok kecil. 2) Metode diskusi tidak tepat diterapkan kepada seluruh peserta didik.3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat metode diskusi ialah motivasi dalam diri peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Metode Diskusi, Percaya Diri ABSTRACT : Nowadays there are still teenagers who lack self-confidence, caused by doubts and confidence in behaving according to their wishes or expressing ideas in front of a large audience, one of which is in the learning process. One of the PNF institutions, namely Homeschooling Taman Sekar Bandung, applies the discussion method to learning which creates students' self-confidence. This research was conducted to determine the process of the discussion method in increasing students' self-confidence, the results of applying the discussion method in increasing students' self-confidence, and the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing the discussion method. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation studies. There were 6 participants in the research, namely 1 Package C coordinator, 2 tutors, and 3 students. From this research, the results show that: 1) The application of the discussion method is carried out through the stages of preparation, implementation, and closing, the discussion method used is the small group discussion method. 2) The discussion method is not effectively applied to all students. 3) The supporting and inhibiting factors for the discussion method are motivation within the students.
