Abstract
Pemutus Tenaga (PMT) merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem distribusi tenaga listrik, terutama dalam menjaga keandalan dan keselamatan operasional jaringan. Salah satu parameter teknis yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja PMT adalah nilai tahanan kontak pada bagian penghantar arus. Tahanan kontak yang meningkat akibat oksidasi, korosi, atau tekanan mekanis yang menurun dapat menyebabkan rugi daya, panas berlebih, bahkan potensi gangguan pada sistem. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis nilai tahanan kontak pada kubikel 20 kV di Gardu Induk Cigereleng PT PLN (Persero) UP2D Jawa Barat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi nilai tahanan kontak sebelum dan sesudah pemeliharaan, menghitung besarnya rugi-rugi daya akibat tahanan kontak, serta mengevaluasi kinerja PMT berdasarkan standar SPLN dan standar ideal pabrikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis yang didasarkan pada data pengukuran tahanan kontak dari tahun 2021 hingga 2025. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan rumus rugi daya P_(loss )= I² x R dengan arus 100 A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh nilai tahanan kontak masih berada di bawah batas maksimum SPLN (100 µΩ), namun belum mencapai standar ideal pabrikan (≤ 35 µΩ). Pemeliharaan mampu menurunkan nilai tahanan secara signifikan, namun efektivitasnya menurun dalam jangka panjang, sehingga diperlukan strategi pemeliharaan yang lebih optimal dan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Tahanan kontak, PMT, Rugi daya, Pemeliharaan, Gardu induk The Circuit Breaker (PMT) is one of the most essential components in the electrical power distribution system, particularly in maintaining the reliability and operational safety of the network. One of the technical parameters that significantly affects the performance of the circuit breaker is the contact resistance on the current-carrying part. Increased contact resistance, caused by oxidation, corrosion, or reduced mechanical pressure, can lead to power losses, overheating, and even potential system disturbances. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the contact resistance values on 20 kV switchgear at Cigereleng Substation of PT PLN (Persero) UP2D West Java. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of contact resistance before and after maintenance, to calculate the amount of power loss due to contact resistance, and to evaluate the performance of the circuit breaker based on SPLN standards and the manufacturer’s ideal standard. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach based on contact resistance measurement data from 2021 to 2025. The data obtained were analyzed using the power loss formula P_(loss )= I² x R with a current of 100 A. The results show that all contact resistance values are below the SPLN maximum limit (100 µΩ), but none meet the manufacturer’s ideal standard (≤ 35 µΩ). Maintenance was proven effective in significantly reducing contact resistance, but its effectiveness declined over time, indicating the need for more consistent and optimal maintenance strategies.
