Abstract

Dalam bahasa Korea, sistem honorifik berperan sebagai representasi kesopanan, hierarki sosial, dan strategi komunikasi pada situasi formal seperti konferensi pers yang melibatkan aktor, sutradara, pembawa acara, dan jurnalis. Honorifik mitra tutur dipahami sebagai bentuk akhir tuturan yang menunjukkan hubungan vertikal maupun horizontal antara penutur dan mitra tutur, sehingga penggunaannya tidak hanya ditentukan oleh struktur linguistik, tetapi juga norma budaya, ekspektasi publik, dan konteks interaksi. Penelitian bertujuan menjelaskan penggunaan honorifik mitra tutur dalam konferensi pers drama Korea serta mengidentifikasi faktor sosial yang memengaruhi pemilihannya. Dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dilakukan teknik analisis dokumen terhadap transkrip video konferensi pers drama Snowdrop dan Buried Hearts. Analisis didasarkan pada teori honorifik menurut Yoo dkk. serta faktor sosial menurut Lee dan Ramsey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya enam variasi honorifik mitra tutur, yaitu formal polite style, polite style, semi-formal old polite style, subordinate old polite style, intimate style, dan casual style. Di antara keenamnya, polite style paling dominan sebanyak 55,66 persen, karena bersifat sopan dan fleksibel untuk komunikasi publik, sedangkan formal polite style, polite style lebih sering digunakan pada momen formal seperti pembukaan, penutupan, dan respons terhadap jurnalis. Faktor usia, status sosial, dan tingkat keakraban ditemukan sebagai penentu penggunaan bentuk honorifik tersebut. Usia menjadi faktor paling dominan dalam menandai hierarki kesopanan, lalu status sosial berkaitan dengan peran institusional dan citra profesional, sedangkan keakraban memungkinkan pergeseran bentuk tutur menjadi lebih santai tanpa menghilangkan rasa hormat. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi dalam pembelajaran sistem honorifik bahasa Korea serta penerapannya dalam situasi komunikasi nyata. In Korean, the honorific system functions as a representation of politeness, social hierarchy, and communication strategy in formal situations such as press conferences involving actors, directors, hosts, and journalists. Addressee honorifics are understood as final verb endings that indicate vertical and horizontal relationships between speakers and addressees, so their use is determined not only by linguistic structure but also by cultural norms, public expectations, and the context of interaction.This study aims to explain the use of addressee honorifics in Korean drama press conferences and to identify the social factors that influence their selection. Using a descriptive qualitative method, document analysis was conducted on the transcripts of press conference videos from the dramas Snowdrop and Buried Hearts. The analysis is based on the honorific theory by Yoo et al. and the social factor theory by Lee and Ramsey. The findings reveal six variations of addressee honorifics, namely formal polite style, polite style, semi-formal old polite style, subordinate old polite style, intimate style, and casual style. Among these, formal polite style is the most dominant, accounting for 55.66 percent, because it is polite and flexible for public communication, while polite style appears more frequently in formal moments such as openings, closings, and responses to journalists. Age, social status, and interpersonal closeness were identified as key factors determining the choice of honorific forms. Age is the most dominant factor marking the hierarchy of politeness, followed by social status, which is related to institutional roles and professional image, while intimacy allows a shift toward a more relaxed speech style without losing respect. This study is expected to provide a reference for the learning of the Korean honorific system and its application in real communicative contexts. 한국어의 높임법 체계는 배우, 감독, 진행자, 기자 등이 참여하는 공식적인 기자간담회와 같은 상황에서 예의, 사회적 위계, 그리고 의사소통 전략을 나타내는 기능을 한다. 청자높임법은 화자와 청자 간의 수직적·수평적 관계를 드러내는 종결 표현으로 이해되며, 그 사용은 언어 구조뿐만 아니라 문화적 규범, 대중적 기대, 그리고 상호작용의 맥락에 의해 결정된다. 본 연구는 한국 드라마 기자간담회에서 사용되는 청자높임법의 양상을 설명하고, 그 선택에 영향을 미치는 사회적 요인을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 질적 기술 연구 방법을 사용하였으며, 드라마 ‘설강화’와 ‘보물섬’의 기자간담회 영상 전사본을 문헌 분석 기법으로 분석하였다. 분석은 유 외와 이와 Ramsey의 이론적 틀을 기반으로 하였다.연구 결과에 따라, 하십시오체, 해요체, 하오체, 하게체, 해라체, 해체 등 총 여섯 가지 청자높임법이 나타났으며, 그 중 해요체가 해요체가 전체의 55.66%로 가장 높은 비율을 차지하였다. 이는 공적 상황에서 공손하면서도 유연하게 사용되어 가장 높은 빈도를 보였으며, 하십시오체는 개회, 폐회, 기자 응답과 같은 매우 공식적인 순간에 더 자주 사용되었다. 또한 연령, 사회적 지위, 그리고 친밀도가 청자높임법 선택의 핵심 요인으로 확인되었다. 연령은 예절의 위계성을 나타내는 가장 지배적인 요인으로 작용하였으며, 사회적 지위는 직책과 전문적 이미지와 관련이 있고, 친밀도는 존중을 유지하면서도 보다 자유로운 화법으로의 전환을 가능하게 하였다. 본 연구는 한국어 높임법의 이해와 실제 의사소통 상황에서의 적용을 학습하는 데 참고 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
