    Abstract

    Penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil tracer study UPI diperoleh data bahwa lulusan Pendidikan Tata Boga tahun 2020-2022 yang menjadi guru sebanyak 55%. Untuk menjadi seorang guru, seseorang harus memiliki minat yang baik dengan mengenal lebih lanjut terkait profesi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran minat menjadi guru pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Boga Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi adalah keseluruhan dari objek penelitian yaitu sebanyak 63 orang mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Boga angkatan 2021 yang telah lulus mata kuliah Perencanaan Pembelajaran. Sampel yang digunakan sampel total dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian tentang minat menjadi guru pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Boga Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia adalah sebagai berikut: ditinjau dari minat intrinsik aspek kognisi dan emosi termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat berminat menjadi guru, dan ditinjau dari minat intrinsik aspek konasi termasuk ke dalam kategori berminat menjadi guru. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat menjadi guru pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Boga Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia termasuk dalam kategori sangat berminat menjadi guru. This study is based on the results of a UPI tracer study, which found that 55% of Culinary Arts Education graduates from 2020-2022 became teachers. To become a teacher, one must have a strong interest in learning more about the teaching profession. This study aims to obtain an overview of the interest in becoming a teacher among students of the Culinary Arts Education Study Program at the Indonesia University of Education. The researcher used a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 63 students from the 2021 batch of the Culinary Arts Education Study Program who had passed the Learning Planning course. A total sample was used, where the entire population was used as the sample. The results of the study on the interest in becoming a teacher among students of the Culinary Arts Education Study Program at the Indonesia University of Education are as follows: in terms of intrinsic interest in cognitive and emotional aspects, they fall into the category of being very interested in becoming a teacher, and in terms of intrinsic interest in conative aspects, they fall into the category of being interested in becoming a teacher. Overall, it can be concluded that the interest in becoming a teacher among students of the Culinary Arts Education Study Program at the Indonesia University of Education falls into the category of being very interested in becoming a teacher.
