Abstract
Penelitian ini mengembangkan model pembelajaran Experiential Learning yang terintegrasi dengan Project-Based Learning dan Studio-Based Learning untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Kriya Kayu di Program Studi Pendidikan Seni Rupa, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kebutuhan pendekatan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan praktis agar mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, kreativitas, serta kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian menggunakan R&D dengan pendekatan mix method, yang meliputi perancangan, penerapan, dan evaluasi model pembelajaran. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam kriya kayu. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan pembelajaran melalui pengalaman langsung, refleksi, pengerjaan proyek nyata, serta praktik studio intensif yang melatih soft skills dan keterampilan teknis secara menyeluruh. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan perancangan pembelajaran kriya kayu secara holistik serta menjadikan pembelajaran lebih bermakna dan aplikatif. Disarankan penerapan model ini secara luas untuk mendukung pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa secara optimal. This study develops an Experiential Learning model integrated with Project-Based Learning and Studio-Based Learning to enhance the learning process of the Woodcraft course at the Fine Arts Education Study Program, Indonesia University of Education. The background of this study is based on the need for a contextual and practical learning approach to enable students to improve their technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. The research method used is R&D with a mixed-methods approach, involving the design, implementation, and evaluation of the learning model. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that the developed learning model significantly improves students' learning motivation and skills in woodcraft. This approach facilitates learning through direct experience, reflection, real project work, and intensive studio practice that comprehensively develops soft skills and technical skills. In conclusion, this learning model is effective in holistically improving the design process of woodcraft learning and making the learning more meaningful and applicable. It is recommended that the model be widely implemented to optimally support the development of student competencies.
