    Abstract

    Keterampilan tata rias wajah dapat menjadi modal siswa dalam dunia pekerjaan sehingga pengembangan keterampilan tata rias menjadi bagian penting yang bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di pasar kerja saat ini dan masa depan. Temuan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat siswa yang memiliki potensi dalam bidang tata rias namun keterampilan tata rias wajah yang dimilikinya tidak berkembang. Hal tersebut didasari dengan belum adanya media belajar yang tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Single Subject Research (SSR) desain A-B-A untuk menguji pengaruh media video tutorial makeup Abel Cantika berbahasa isyarat terhadap peningkatan keterampilan tata rias pada seorang siswa tunarungu kelas VII di SLBN Sukapura. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pada skor keterampilan tata rias dari fase baseline 1 (A1) ke fase intervensi (B), yang kemudian stabil hingga mencapai 100% pada fase baseline 2 (A2). Video ini menjembatani kesenjangan komunikasi dengan memastikan setiap langkah dan teknik disampaikan secara jelas dan berurutan melalui bahasa isyarat. Peningkatan yang terjadi bersifat stabil, menunjukkan bahwa media ini berpengaruh dan memberikan dampak positif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media video tutorial makeup Abel Cantika berbahasa isyarat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan tatarias wajah. Makeup skills can be a student's asset in the workforce, therefore, the development of makeup skills becomes an important part aimed at equipping students with the skills needed in the current and future job market. Field findings indicate that some students have potential in the field of makeup, but their makeup skills do not develop. This is based on the absence of a suitable learning medium. This study uses a quantitative approach with a Single Subject Research (SSR) method, A-B-A design, to examine the effectiveness of sign language-based Abel Cantika makeup tutorial videos on improving makeup skills in a seventh-grade deaf student at SLBN Sukapura. The results showed a significant increase in makeup skill scores from the baseline 1 (A1) phase to the intervention (B) phase, which then stabilized to reach 100% in the baseline 2 (A2) phase. This video bridges the communication gap by ensuring that every step and technique is conveyed clearly and sequentially through sign language. The increase that occurred was stable, indicating that this medium is effective and has a positive impact. The results of the study show that sign language-based Abel Cantika makeup tutorial videos can significantly improve student learning outcomes in facial makeup skills.
