Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul Perkembangan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda dan Dampaknya Terhadap Masyarakat Ciumbuleuit Tahun 1997-2020 ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti mengenai sistem pengelolaan Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda yang memberikan pembiayaan gratis untuk para santrinya, pengadaan program wirausaha dan dampak yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat sekitar dalam hal perekonomian serta pembangunan. Permasalahan yang dikaji peneliti meliputi latar belakang berdirinya Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda, sistem pendidikan yang digunakan oleh Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda, dan dampak Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda pada masyarakat sekitar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode historis yang terdiri dari heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa berdirinya Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda di Ciumbuleuit dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan Ust. Mansur untuk mendirikan pondok pesantren dengan tujuan ingin memberikan kehidupan yang layak pada anak yatim piatu dan anak-anak yang kurang beruntung, walaupun pada awal memiliki kendala seiring berjalannya waktu masyarakat dapat menerima adanya pondok pesantren di daerah Rancabentang, Ciumbuleuit. Sistem pendidikan yang digunakan berupa salafiyah, dimana kurikulumnya lebih berfokus kepada belajar Al-Quran, hadis dan kitab kuning, pada perkembangannya Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda memiliki sekolah penyetaraan paket B, adanya kelas formal dilandasi dari UU Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 mengenai sistem pendidikan nasional yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia, mengenai pondok pesanstren salafiyah sebagai pola Wajib Belajar Pendidikan Sembilan Tahun. Berdirinya Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda Ciumbuleuit, memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada masyarakat sekitar, seperti ilmu keagamaan, ekonomi, fasilitas dan sosial. Kata Kunci : Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda, Sistem Pendidikan Pesantren, Dampak Terhadap Masyarakat The research entitled The Development of the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School and Its Impact on the Ciumbuleuit Community in 1997-2020 was motivated by the researcher's interest in the management system of the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School which provides free financing for its students, the provision of entrepreneurship programs and the impact felt by the surrounding community in terms of the economy and development. The problems studied by the researcher include the background to the establishment of the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School, the education system used by the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School, and the impact of the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School on the surrounding community. The method used is the historical method consisting of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the establishment of the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School in Ciumbuleuit was motivated by the desire of Ust. Mansur to establish an Islamic boarding school with the aim of providing a decent life for orphans and disadvantaged children, although at the beginning there were obstacles over time the community was able to accept the existence of an Islamic boarding school in the Rancabentang area, Ciumbuleuit. The education system used is salafiyah, where the curriculum focuses more on learning the Qur'an, hadith and yellow books, in its development, the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School has a package B equivalency school, the existence of formal classes is based on Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system issued by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, concerning salafiyah Islamic boarding schools as a pattern of Compulsory Nine-Year Education. The establishment of the Nurul Huda Ciumbuleuit Islamic Boarding School has had a significant impact on the surrounding community, such as religious knowledge, economy, facilities and social.
