Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik mind-mapping untuk meningkatkan self-regulated learning pada mahasiswa yang mengalami adiksi media sosial, dan melihat bagaimana pengaruh dari layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik mind-mapping untuk meningkatkan self-regulated learning pada mahasiswa yang mengalami adiksi media sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental onegroup pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pilot study, sehingga jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak lima orang mahasiswa Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya Angkatan 2024 yang memiliki tingkat self-regulated learning sedang dan adiksi media sosial tinggi dan sedang dan tidak ada kelompok kontrol. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dua instrumen peneitian yaitu Academic Self-Regulated Learning Questionnaire (ASLQ) dan Social Media Addiction Scale (SMAS) yang telah diadaptasi oleh penulis. Berdasarkan hasil dari uji kelayakan yang telah dilakukan kepada sampel, menunjukkan bahwa program bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik mind-mapping layak untuk digunakan dalam meningkatkan self-regulated learning pada mahasiswa yang mengalami adiksi media sosial. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil uji praktikal yang menunjukkan adanya perubahan dalam kebiasaan belajar anggota kelompok, yang dapat dilihat dari hasil lembar jawaban homework yang selalu diberikan dalam setiap sesinya, dan adanya peningkatan dari skor pre-test ke post-test pada masing-masing anggota kelompok. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian di terima dan layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik mind-mapping dapat memberikan pengaruh positif untuk meningkatkan self-regulated learning pada mahasiswa yang mengalami adiksi media sosial. This study aims to develop a group counseling program using mind-mapping techniques to improve self-regulated learning in college students with social media addiction, and to examine the effect of group counseling services using mind-mapping techniques on improving self-regulated learning in college students with social media addiction. The approach used is quantitative with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest research design. This study is a pilot study, so the sample size used was five students from Universitas Perjuangan Tasikmalaya Class of 2024 who had moderate levels of self-regulated learning and high and moderate levels of social media addiction, and there was no control group. The data collection process was carried out using two research instruments, namely the Academic Self-Regulated Learning Questionnaire (ASLQ) and the Social Media Addiction Scale (SMAS), which had been adapted by the author. Based on the results of the feasibility test conducted on the sample, it was found that the group guidance program using the mind-mapping technique was feasible for use in improving self-regulated learning in students experiencing social media addiction. This can be seen from the practical test results, which show changes in the learning habits of group members, as evidenced by the homework answer sheets that were always given in each session, and an increase in the pre-test to post-test scores for each group member. This indicates that the research hypothesis is accepted, and group counseling services using mind-mapping techniques can have a positive effect on improving self-regulated learning among college students experiencing social media addiction.
