    Abstract

    Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mendalami aktualisasi nilai gotong royong dalam tradisi Liliuran untuk penguatan kebajikan warga negara (civic virtue) pada masyarakat Dusun Mulyaasih, Kuningan, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus secara khusus akan mengkaji mengenai aktualiasi nilai gotong royong dalam tradisi Liliuran untuk penguatan civic virtue. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa proses aktualisasi nilai gotong royong dalam tradisi Liliuran ini mampu menguatkan dan membentuk rasa untuk terlibat dalam berbagai hal yang mengarah pada sikap positif dalam tatanan kehidupan masyarakat yang ada, atau dengan kata lain proses aktualisasi nilai gotong royong ini mampu menstimulus setiap masyarakat untuk melakukan berbagai hal yang bersifat baik dan positif sebagai contoh adanya saling tolong menolong, adanya kepedulian, saling menyayangi, mengutamakan kepentingan umum dan lain sebagainya. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa keberadaan nilai gotong royong dalam kehidupan masyarakat perlu untuk tetap dilestarikan sebagai bentuk penguatan sikap atau perilaku yang baik setiap warga negara. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi berbagai pihak meliputi instansi pendidikan, pemerintahan, serta masyarakat bahwa keberadaaan gotong royong ini memiliki banyak manfaat terutama terhadap penguatan kebajikan warga negara maupun kemampuan warga negara lainnya. This thesis aims to explore the actualization of gotong royong values in the Liliuran tradition to strengthen civic virtue in the Mulyaasih Hamlet community, Kuningan, West Java. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method that will specifically examine the actualization of gotong royong values in the Liliuran tradition to strengthen civic virtue. The results of the study revealed that the process of actualizing gotong royong values in the Liliuran tradition is able to strengthen and shape a sense of involvement in various things that lead to positive attitudes in the existing social order, or in other words, the process of actualizing gotong royong values is able to stimulate every community to do various things that are good and positive, for example, helping each other, caring, loving each other, prioritizing public interests and so on. The results of this study indicate that the existence of gotong royong values in community life needs to be preserved as a form of strengthening good attitudes or behavior of every citizen. The implications of this study can contribute to various parties including educational institutions, government, and society that the existence of gotong royong has many benefits, especially for strengthening the virtues of citizens and the abilities of other citizens.
