    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan transformasi pola asuh orang tua melalui program Parenting SOS (Sekolah Orang Tua Santri) di TK IT Ihya’ As Sunnah Tasikmalaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya perubahan mendasar dalam pola pikir, sikap, dan perilaku orang tua setelah mengikuti program Parenting SOS. Orang tua yang semula menuntut keseragaman kemampuan anak berubah menjadi lebih menghargai perbedaan dan proses perkembangan. Perubahan mencakup tiga dimensi utama: (1) kognitif peningkatan pemahaman tentang tahapan perkembangan anak; (2) afektif tumbuhnya kesabaran, empati, dan regulasi emosi; serta (3) perilaku terbentuknya komunikasi positif dan kerja sama dengan pihak sekolah. Transformasi tersebut diperkuat oleh nilai-nilai keislaman, dukungan guru sebagai fasilitator, dan komunitas orang tua yang saling belajar. Secara teoretis, hasil ini selaras dengan teori Ekologi Bronfenbrenner, Andragogi Knowles, dan Transformative Learning Mezirow, yang menegaskan bahwa perubahan perilaku orang dewasa terjadi melalui refleksi pengalaman dan interaksi lingkungan yang mendukung. Dengan demikian, Parenting SOS berperan sebagai ruang pembelajaran reflektif yang menumbuhkan pengasuhan berbasis kasih sayang, kesadaran, dan tanggung jawab spiritual. This study aims to describe the transformation of parenting patterns among parents through the Parenting SOS (Sekolah Orang Tua Santri) program at TK IT Ihya’ As Sunnah Tasikmalaya. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles & Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal a fundamental transformation in parents’ mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors after participating in the Parenting SOS program. Parents who initially demanded uniform achievement among children became more appreciative of individual differences and developmental processes. The transformation occurred across three dimensions: (1) cognitive improved understanding of children’s developmental stages; (2) affective enhanced patience, empathy, and emotional regulation; and (3) behavioral greater use of positive communication and collaboration with teachers. This transformation was supported by Islamic values, the role of teachers as facilitators, and the peer-learning community among parents. The findings align with Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Theory, Knowles’s Andragogy, and Mezirow’s Transformative Learning Theory, which emphasize that adult behavioral change emerges through reflective learning and supportive environmental interactions. Therefore, the Parenting SOS program serves as a reflective learning space that fosters parenting practices grounded in compassion, awareness, and spiritual responsibility.
