Abstract
Lingkungan pendidikan yang ideal seharusnya terbebas dari berbagai hambatan, ancaman, maupun bahaya, baik yang muncul dari dalam maupun luar sekolah. Kondisi lingkungan pendidikan saat ini nyatanya masih mengalami berbagai risiko yang mengancam penghuni sekolah, baik mengancam fisik maupun nonfisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan membuat desain sekolah aman dengan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data kuesioner, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil utama merupakan berbagai ancaman yang umum terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan, khususnya di kota Bandung seperti ancaman fisik, keselamatan, keamanan dan perilaku negatif yang dapat membahayakan siswa dan tenaga pendidik. Hasil temuan digunakan sebagai dasar strategi perancangan model sekolah aman dengan metode kanonik yang dapat mengurangi risiko dan memberikan perlindungan keamanan dan keselamatan bagi seluruh warga sekolah. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa resiko keamanan dan keselamatan seluruh warga sekolah dapat diminimalisir dengan aspek desain arsitektural seperti zoning, massa bangunan, sirkulasi, visibilitas, kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana pendukung lainya. An ideal educational environment should be free from various obstacles, threats, and dangers, both those arising from within and outside the school. The current condition of the educational environment in fact still experiences various risks that threaten school occupants, both physical and non-physical threats. This study aims to create a safe school design using qualitative methods by collecting questionnaire data, observation, and document analysis. The main results are various threats that commonly occur in educational environments, especially in the city of Bandung such as physical threats, safety, security and negative behavior that can endanger students and educators. The findings are used as the basis for a safe school model design strategy using the canonical method that can reduce risks and provide security and safety protection for all school residents. Conclusion of the study is that security and safety risks for all school residents can be minimized by architectural design aspects such as zoning, building mass, circulation, visibility, completeness of facilities and other supporting infrastructure.
