Abstract
Pembelajaran sosiologi berperan penting dalam pelestarian kearifan lokal sekaligus menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik yang berakar pada budaya daerah mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji peran bahan ajar sosiologi berbasis kearifan lokal randai dalam menguatkan karakter gotong royong peserta didik di MAN 2 Bukittinggi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi dengan sembilan partisipan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling, terdiri dari Guru Sosiologi, Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan Peserta Didik. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui tiga tahap: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) integrasi pertunjukan randai dalam pembelajaran sosiologi pada pokok bahasan pemberdayaan komunitas berbasis kearifan lokal efektif menanamkan karakter gotong royong melalui nilai-nilai religiusitas, tanggung jawab, disiplin, sopan santun, etika komunikasi, musyawarah, kerja sama, dan koordinasi sosial; (2) bahan ajar yang digunakan guru berbentuk ekosistem pembelajaran integratif yang mencakup modul ajar, buku pendamping, video pertunjukan randai, dan teks kaba Sabai Nan Aluih; (3) strategi yang dilakukan guru adalah kolaborasi lintas mata pelajaran melalui Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dan sinergi dalam Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5RA) bertema kearifan lokal. Sociology learning plays an important role in preserving local wisdom while simultaneously fostering students’ character values rooted in their regional culture. This study aims to examine the role of sociology teaching materials based on local wisdom of randai in strengthening the character of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) among students at MAN 2 Bukittinggi. The approach employed is qualitative with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study with nine participants selected using purposive sampling, consisting of a Sociology teacher, the Vice Principal for curriculum affairs, and students. Data analysis was carried out interactively through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The validity of the data was tested using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that: (1) the integration of randai performances in sociology learning on the topic of community empowerment based on local wisdom effectively instills the value of gotong royong through religiosity, responsibility, discipline, politeness, communication ethics, deliberation, cooperation, and social coordination; (2) the teaching materials used by the teacher take the form of an integrative learning ecosystem consisting of teaching modules, supplementary books, randai performance videos, and the kaba text Sabai Nan Aluih; (3) the strategies employed by the teacher include cross-subject collaboration through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and synergy within the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5RA) themed on local wisdom.
